seriously, people that comment on physical appearance as a differentiating factor in the use of PEDs might want to rethink that. 
 
yes, at some point he looked like he took roids.  doesn't mean he wasn't using some form of PED that helped his game before that.  How many people do we all know that roided in high school, college etc.  It's not like all of them got huge. 

I would rather be in a bad spot in 2 or 3 years with a chance to win the ws for next 2 or 3 yrs than a awful spot now and in 3 yrs. their owner has the deepest pockets in MLB. A huge tv contract. Giant stadium. One of the most recognizable names in baseball and LA to pack in 50 plus thousand a night. Seems like their farm is intact and they have a sense of direction. Damn I'd settle for a sense of direction right now from the Angels. Not the gigantic mess we have in our ownership, front office and managerial position.

If I was to pick I would say both. I like Mike I think he is a decent manager but.. he has had his time here. Dipoto is a mess and should go first but I think bringing in a new GM and letting that GM pick his own manager would be the best decision. If I could keep one of Dipoto or Mike I would keep Mike 1000%. Dipoto is horrible. Nothing he has done here has worked out.

2009 was a pivotal year IMO as well.  Agreed that Figgins/Vlad/Lackey were all good decisions - the problem is that that should have been a clear indication to the FO that it was time to regroup for a couple of years and not spend big money in FA or make "go for it" trades that hurt in the long term - which is unfortunately exactly what they did.  The infrastructure of the roster was weakened considerably after 2009 and we've been playing Jenga with it ever since.

Why would we want to spoil anyones playoff hopes? That's just mean.

Dipoto should definitely be fired this is his team he put together. It's awful. Fire him before it gets worse

Fire general manager and all higher and lower personnel including coaching staff.
Trade everyone not named Trout
Learn what a plan is and start to execute
Figure out how not to sign older than 30 year old veteran injury prone players
Get younger.
Add speed. And plate discipline
Add pitching

AO is allowed to be frustrated like the rest of us. It's warranted...This team sucks ass. STFU and deal with people bitching. It's not going to stop anytime soon. maybe you're the one who needs to back away from the keyboard.

Just the jobs they are doing on the field or lack there of. He seems like a great guy just that he is well past his prime and looks like he should be retiring soon

No shot. Yes he's probably not on it now but he definitely was when he was his dominant self. He was what a 30 round pick or something that came up to the bigs and crushed the second he got here
