Yeah, I'm starting to warm to the idea of trading Ward as well. I'm guessing when ranking the players available in a trade ahead of the deadline, it would go like this, despite Anderson's amazing pitching:

    1. Taylor Ward

    2. Luis Rengifo

    3. Tyler Anderson

    4. Griffin Canning

    5. Brandon Drury (if he comes back soon and starts clubbing the ball)

    6. Carlos Estevez (if he starts pitching the way he did prior to the AS Break last year, his stock will rise)

Not a fan of trading Rengifo....but good with the rest of the list.

Mark Cresse long time Dodgers BP coach used to live in my neighborhood.  He would take the cracked bats, saw off the barrels and give handles to us kids in the neighborhood.  We would play whiffle ball with bats used by Bill Russell, Steve Yeager, Ron Cey etc....Also would go to the local park and he would be working with his son Brad.  The started my love for Major League Baseball.

@mmc Love the comment. Keep being you dude.

And for the record, the Rams left when I was 15, and I was already a 49ers fan, but to expect a city to support you after you left and then came back, is a joke. The Rams left an entire generation of LA fans to find another favorite team.

I was a Rams fan until they moved...All of my mom's family is from the bay area, it was pretty easy to move to follow the 49ers.  Not to mention back in the early 90's we were living in Whittier, and the local paper 'adopted' the 49ers as the home town team.  The Rams for me (especially with Stafford as the QB), are in the same category as the Raiders, Yankees and Dodgers...a loss from one of these teams can make my day.
