We got a couple of journeyman outfielders who by all accounts are nice guys and easy to get along with. We gave up hardly anything in return.

Considering we have no real trade assets that will not deplete or kill us in the future, I have no problem with the players acquired.  We have a crappy farm system with no real depth.

I took my rose colored glasses off a long time ago....The Angels have to keep their core together, and hope for some change for next year....I'm tired of saying crappy players playing above expectations, so we think we are a playoff team.

Murphy plays for Cleveland.
