Please!  Continue to jump-ship.  It was very nice having so much leg-room at the game last week when you didn't show-up...  The whine-song is getting old in here.

"Howie sucks!"  "Scoscia and Dipoto suck!"  "Hamilton sucks!"  "Pujols is hurt, too old, and sucks!"  "Trout is too fat to improve on his historic rookie season!"  etc.

Some of it may be true, and it really sucks to lose a series to Houston... but I will still watch and root for them, as I see some guys still showing some fire and trying to get it done (Hopefully, the Kings will make a repeat-run so I don't have to watch every minute of the Angels games).

I don't know what the solution is, but It's not over yet.  I remember a team in '02 that got off to a pretty horrendous start too...

At least I have Ducks playoff games!

I still watch bits and pieces of pretty much every Angels game (mostly to watch Trout/Trumbo AB's), but its not something I really look forward to or get excited about anymore.  I envy the superfans that can continuously get beat in the head with shitty baseball and still maintain a high level of interest and excitement about it.  It's like getting amped about eating a dry turd sandwhich for lunch every day.  I can think of about a million better things to do than watch uninspired, lazy and fundamentally bad baseball for three hours a night.

The Angels will always be my team, but to me they're like family; I might be stuck with them, but that doesn't mean I have to like them all the time.

It's probly not a factor for him any longer, as I think it has been over a year now.  The difficulty depends on how long/much he was dipping in the past.  I didn't start until about 7 years ago, and I'm at about a can or two a week now.  I stopped for a month last year (for life-insurance purposes.... 8), and found it to be pretty difficult.  I was strung-out on sunflower seeds, candy, red vines, and gum for the month.  I tried some of the herbal stuff, but it's pretty horrible.

In that month, I was a bit more short-tempered, but I felt better physically too (after the first-week migraine headache left).  Now, I will take a day or two off from time to time just to try to keep the addiction level low.

Josh' problem is his approach at the plate; not quitting tobacco.  He needs to make his swing-zone smaller (I'd be watching lots of film to help with pitch-recognition if it was available to me)

That ball was catchable, especially for Trout.  It wasn't going over the fence until his glove guided-it over.
He's mis-played a few out there (center and Left), but I don't think it's reasonable to expect a 99% fielding percentage.  Moving from center to left is not that big of a deal to a young Major Leaguer with all his ability.

I think there's a problem in the clubhouse; there's no leader.

Went with a girlfriend to Glen Ivy Spa a long time ago.  Got a nice, relaxing half hr massage that actually took the kinks out a bit.  That was a cool place; they had jacuzzis everywhere, along with pools and a hot-mud pool.
It didn't take me too long to realize that I should go back again with one of my male friends, because I was one of two or three men there...  It was mostly older folks, but there were a few gaggles of 20-something beauties too.  Never did go back though- fail

A little off-topic here... I only made it to two regular-season games last year, but rolled to opening night last night.  Did they start shutting-down beer/liquor sales in the 6th THIS season, or last year?  Gonna be time to start smuggling again....

That sounds like total BS!  I would suggest writing a letter on your professional letterhead.  Maybe the thought of somebody speaking-out about the incident on a National talk show, will wake-up "guest relations" to make this right with you and your friends.

Disgraceful for Rutgers admin, and who in their right mind would play for this psycho?!  I'd rather play at a Community College and have fun.  I'm surprised the players didn't unite against it.

Evil Dead II is my personal favorite of the trilogy, though I love all three. There's not much actual horror in it in my opinion, but instead a lot physical comedy and some slapstick humor. Sam Raimi's direction and camera techniques are awesome and critical to each of the Evil Dead movies. Something I felt was kind of lost in the Spiderman movies outside of in part 2 with Doc Ock which had a pretty big Evil Dead vibe in some of his scenes.

Regehr is a solid veteran blueliner acquisition, whose grit was needed to overcome not having Mitchell.
It still hurts though to not have Greene's leadership as asst. captain on the ice.
That is so important come SCP time.

This made me think of a place in Newport I used to go to called the Snug Harbor.  Of course, it was torn down to build a giant cement lmixed use loft space, which makes no sense.  It was across from The Cannery and it stunk of sewage, dried beer, and 40-plus years of lawless smoking.

It had been there for years and was a real treasure.  John Wayne used to go there and wasn't bothered.  A real salty dog place.  There was a bartender there named "Harry," who used to be a boxer.  He had these big, saggy eyes and would mumble.  Bill came in later and tried to fit in by giving a select few patrons free drinks all the time.  Let's just say he was a terrific bartender.

There was another bartender that hated anyone under 50.  He would yell at us if we used the f-word or anything stronger than 'darn.'  "We don't use that kinda of language in here, mister!"

The toilet flooded over a few times a night.  The juke box still played singles and if the bartenders didn't like the song ("Brown Eyed Girl" for the 100th time that night, for example), then a master volume switch would quiet the volume.

My spot was usually leaning against the jukebox.  If i didn't like a song -- there's always some a-hole who puts on a god awful selfish jukebox song...typically country -- then I would kick the side of the juke which skipped the record to the end and the next selection would come on.  Bill the bartender would look up, see it was me and carry on like nothing happened.

On the other side of the bar was a bumper pool table.  To gain favor from the, er, doorman named Jon Jon (I called him Crap Crap), you would ask Jon Jon for advice as to where to hit the pool ball.  He'd point to a spot on the side of the table without saying a word, like he was some all-knowing pool table god.  He had a pony tail.

The drinks were very strong.  The most popular was the screwdriver, also known as the Snug-driver.  If you had just one, you couldn't do anything the next day except go back to the Snug.

If someone dared call the Snug on the phone, the bartenders usually grabbed the receiver and for some reason they would smack it on the bar twice before saying "Snug."  Not that the person on the end could hear anything.

On Friday and Saturday nights, when the UCI reyn spooner crowd showed up, there were at least two fights each night.  They usually ended up in the street outside, so those in the know never parked in front.  It was a sucker's parking space.

There was one female bartender.  Her name was Fay, and she looked like a Fay.  Smoked like a chimney, short dyed reddish hair and curious teeth allignment.  I went in one day to get a hair of the dog and she said to me, "You hear about your friend Randy?"  Nope.

Fay took a drag of her cigarette.  "He went down.  He went down hard."  Oh.  Screwdriver, please.
