I think Rengifo, La Stella and Fletcher are all better options than Cozart.  Cozart is no longer needed. He should get a spring training from the Angels but that should be the last thing.

In Eppler's defense, he probably asked Cashman for his take on those players and Cashman told him they both sucked and to spend money elsewhere, like on Harvey, Cahill and Allen.

Yeah, the instincts are still there too. I've noticed when he's at 1B, the infielders just seem to play with a little more confidence it seems. There's a different vibe in their play. He influences a lot of little things that don't show up on Baseball Reference. Further proof is in his ability to still steal a base - amazed also that he has stolen 28 bases as an Angel.

I stick with Bourbon, Whisky, Gin, Vodka and red wine with my meals. 
Beers get me all bloated. I'll drink one from time to time if I'm at a ball game, floating down the river or if someone buys me a beer for a social gathering, but that's about it.

Next season if Eppler fails to make the postseason he's gone.
Eppler gets a D grade for me this season but a big fat F if he fails to produce a winning team in 2020.

Seriously, Why do you still watch the Angels?  This can't be good for your health.
I'm not trying to be a smart ass...I have the same frustrations. 

I’m saying that he may be more interested in playing for the Angels as they enter their window of opportunity than maximizing his potential earnings. He would be foolish not to listen to other offers, but in the end he will be expensive and the Angels will need to pay. I think the past few years of pitching problems only adds to the reality that the Angels need to pay.

As long as those are "satisfactory" and not "fantastic". 
If it's the latter, the rest of your career can usually be measured in days.

Honestly, if the Angels had been able to field a steady five-man rotation that consisted entirely of #3's they'd probably be running away with the 2nd WC right now. 

Would be so huge if the 2020 Angels bullpen had Robles, Bedrosian, Buttrey, Middleton, and Anderson all healthy and pitching basically to their recent norms.
