But yes. If there is one thing to say for the guy, hes not a take the money and run type. (Well, he cant run anyway). But as much as it irks some people on here, that hes stuck around, hes (broken down and all) a gamer. 

Hes too old to fight, but wouldnt back down if a younger guy pressed him. Theres something to be said for that.

I wish the contract would end as much as the biggest pujols haters on here. But give the guy credit, in the small parts where its due. Hes got more desire to compete at 80 than a lot of these guys do by 32....

An IF hit and a SB in the same game, the man has/a needs wheels. He also had a 3 run HR, a 5 tool player for sure.

Some people post stuff like the Angels give up and then you see Pujols stealing a base to get into scoring position and you have to say there is no give up in that man.

However.

That dumbass manager left Albert Pujols standing on second base and didn't even think of a pinch runner to almost guarantee a runner scoring on a single to the outfield whereas Pujols probably can't make that run without being thrown out. It is extra innings, your scoring opportunities are critical, you can't sit on your hands and wait out the game. Ausmus can be one of the most brain dead managers I've seen.

Most people wish he would retire, this post was about he still goes out there and gives his all to win. You should respect that.
