The Angels need Hamilton to be productive to have a chance.  He does not need to carry the team, but needs to contribute.  I hope he finds his way for the sake of the team.

The Angels can face the reality that Pujols and Hamilton will never lead this team to the playoffs.  The Angels can, hopefully begin building a team around Trout, Richards, Calhoun, et. al and make a run in 2018.
 
Trade mlb talent and get some players ready to start theiir mlb career.

The league has adjusted and now Mike needs to respond.  It might be as simple as that.....
