  1. If you could just remove injuries from any past player's career (is no longer in the league), who it would be, and why? You can pick one Angels player and one non-Angels player. Lets exclude death as an injury considering it's so emotionally charged. My non-Angels pick is Nomar. I'm very tempted to pick Kerry Wood because it'd be interesting to see what his true upside would've been sans elbow/arm injuries, but with Nomar, we very much saw how good he could've been and I would love to see how great his career could've been if he remained that solid defensive SS and high average/extra base power combo. My Angels pick is Tim Salmon. I'm forever an undying Tim Salmon fan I guess, but just the longevity of his career with the Angels, him having a lot more complete seasons, especially later in his career when the Angels were more on the fringe and his health could've made the difference in team success.
  2. I finally got around to watching Les Mis (2012), it was beautiful and made me cry, but I was also very high at the time, and with my girlfriend.
  3. The main reason I'm not doing well is because my surgery got cancelled and I have no idea when I'll be able to reschedule it, my lifestyle isn't dramatically different now though.
  4. Wasn't he in the same FA class as Yoan Moncada? I don't remember.
  5. I think (hopefully) the DNC has a line they won't go past in terms of corruption, like they'll only risk the optics of the party so much in an attempt to prevent Bernie from winning. Bernie has to win enough so that amount of rigging won't be enough.
  6. I remember the Trout hype being really big, I don't think anything has topped that in my experience as an Angels fan.
  7. Ryu is a lot better, and Keuchel isn't exactly an ironman, so gotta go with Ryu.
  8. I recently saw the movie Ginger Snaps again, I wanted to introduce it to my girlfriend. Kind of a charming silly Canadian horror coming of age movie. I still enjoyed it, and so did my girl. Also recently watched the show Barry, with Bill Hader, and I thought it was awesome. Funny, but also some poignant commentary on mental health and finding yourself.
  9. It is annoying to lose a first round pick so soon, it feels like it was wasted at some point.
  10. I do, I just logged in after a long time, but I've been lurking occasionally. It's she now, not he
  11. AW popped in my head recently with the Angels draft. I don't follow baseball as closely as I used to, but I thought I'd peek my head in for the fun of it. I don't know if anyone would even remember me lol. I hope everyone is doing well, it looks like the site is progressing as much as it always had. Well done, Chuck.
  12. Syndergaard is what Strasburg was going to be before he hurt his elbow and lost a bit of his stuff.
  13. There are WAY too many draft rounds if teams give that little of a shit about those picks.
  14. I really wish they took Rutherford in the 1st round, but based on my admittedly draft ignorant opinion, they look like they've been having an interesting draft. Can't wait to see who might pan out.
