Owners should try to do whatever they can in order to help their team get on TV for fans to watch.  But the reality is they don't -- because it has no immediate impact to them financially.  They have their TV, broadcast, etc. money from MLB and local deals.  Team values keep going way up.  If anything, they likely think it means more fans in the stands.  But fact is, it hurts the long-term of the sport (very long-term). 
I haven't been able to watch the Angels local broadcast since the 2019 ended.  My interest for this season is WAY down because i have no ability to watch them on TV.  Worst yet (for Arte/MLB), my two boys have zero interest now in talkin baseball and anything about it.  The lack of watching it on TV just is a killer for them interest wise.  Football -- on TV all the time and interest sky high (same with other sports that are easily assessable).   My oldest boy cried when the angels got eliminated by KC the last time they made the playoffs.  Now he couldn't care less about the Angels/MLB.

Crap.  I don’t want cable and hate AT&T.

And the Dodgers (rightfully) caught a boatload of shit for it.  Only in Angelswin fairyland is management not responsible for their product reaching so few eyeballs.

Yesterday, I said I thought a reunion with Noe Ramirez was unlikely.

Why are people so sure that from watching CRod throw about 6 innings in spring training that he’s a major leaguer right now? It’s not like his stats have been that great either. Without looking I think he’s given up 4 runs in 6 innings or something. 
 
And he has zero minor league track record. 

Sure, he throws hard and has good stuff and may be good, but I think you need to see a little (or a lot) more.
I don’t think it’s impossible that he makes the team but I’d still be surprised. 

They aren’t wrong about a lot of the pen.

Thanks @Chuckster70 but I'd just like to say Pitching! Pitching, pitching, pitching. Could you do the 9 best ranked pitchers? (Then we should at least get one of them even they all choose pitchers). Would be nice to have a selection of young pitchers in the farm to get excited about. Cheers pal.

Every season since I was a kid I would literally be counting down the days until Spring Training, and then would try and watch every ST game as I counted down until Opening Day. This year I'm really struggling to get excited about baseball like I usually do.
I have yet to watch a full ST game (although I partially blame my dislike for Jose Mota's PbP for that), and I just don't feel that sense of "excitement" that I always do. It has nothing to do with the on field product, I actually think the Angels will be better this year, and I've been really excited about seasons where i knew we'd suck.
I think last season really messed with me, it was the first season in almost 20 years where I didn't attend a single game. I also hated the short schedule, and the pandemic in general. I am not struggling with depression as this issue only seems to be affecting baseball for me. Also I put a lot of energy into the Trevor Bauer social media recruitment thing and that really soured me as well.
Also I struggle with change, and looking forward to hearing @VictorRojas and Gubi in the booth was something I would look forward to yearly, like being visited by old friends, so I think Victor leaving affected me more than I realized, although I am very excited about Matt Vasgersion. (If they stuck with Jose Mota this season I would have legit cancelled MLB.tv)

Is there anyone else struggling with getting as excited about this season as previous seasons?

Use your first round pick on a high floor infielder, and subsequently dump him for salary relief the same year. Now watch him be Jeff Kent or something just to rub it in.

I would want Rendon's .400 OBP coming up in the first inning:
Fletcher; Trout; Rendon; Ohtani; Walsh; Upton; Stassi; Lagares; Iglesias
And when Ohtani is pitching:
Fletcher; Trout; Rendon; Walsh; Upton; Pujols; Lagares; Suzuki; Iglesias

Just keep targeting upside collegiate starters. Get another Detmers or Rodriguez type of arm in the system, someone that'll be ready along with Kochanowicz in 2024. Use your second round pick on a starter too.
Then wash, rinse and repeat in the 2022 and 2023 drafts and this organization will finally have the pitching depth and upside that it needs on the mound.
