I may have misunderstood @Inside Pitch when we were discussing it.  I assumed from our conversation that 3 players played after receiving positive tests.  

I shed no tears for the Astros losing Verlander. But I won't dance on any graves. Karma has its way of, well, you know.

None of us know how serious this is. It could be nothing or it could also be something that lingers on for months.

I don’t actually buy when Maddon says he doesn’t know. I believe he can’t say. 
 
Teheran said Wednesday that he was hoping to get the test results back Wednesday or Thursday and be in Anaheim this weekend. Obviously that didn’t happen, but I have no idea if the test was positive or the results didn’t come back or he’s got to quarantine for some other reason. Maybe his test was negative but someone in his family tested positive and now he’s got to wait for another. 
 
We still really don’t know a lot about how this works until guys start showing up and telling us what happened in their owns words.

He is in his age 29 season and has a career 3.67 ERA.  Not sure I would say final phase or lackluster.  

Except he is absolutely one of our best 5 starters.  If I had to guess he was waiting for test results, then got the test results and he now has to be quarantined.  I highly doubt Eppler and the front office are anything but hopeful he is pitching for the Angels soon.  

I do not think he will be starter in RF but I wish he was for the experience and his development. He is a very special player.

I say sit Simmons because he will not be signed in off season. Teams are going to cut payroll and any money Moreno spends should be on pitching. Fletcher will be SS in 21.

Trout is signed for his career with Angels. My point is let players that are this teams future play in these 60 games.

Win what this year? Players that Angels future should be playing. Simmons will not be signed this off season, teams will be looking to cut payroll. Besides I think Adell is halos best option in RF for this shortened season. Put Adell in RF and Fletcher at SS.

I don’t think Maddon is talking about Trout. I think he’s saying that if you’re going to be a shithead and not follow the rules, don’t come here.  

As great as a baseball player Trout is, he’s a better human being. What is not to like about him?

Force at least a quarter of the owners to sell, and replace Tony Clark.
