Believe it or not, The Angels are an L.A. Team, and should be in L.A. County. If the old stadium were to be renovated, or a new one built, Anaheim won't do it or pay the bill unless the name were to go back to Anaheim Angels which will never happen and would not be a good idea at this point. All Anaheim will do basically is keep the place up to code, health and safety wise.

My Congratulations go out to the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Team (and the city I grew up in) on the 25th Anniversary of this NHL Franchise. Since winning the Stanley Cup back in 2007, The Anaheim Ducks have only missed the NHL Play-offs twice. Thank you for these twenty five years and for remaining loyal to the Anaheim/Orange County Community.

Here's a meme I came across that I cannot stress enough, in relation to what my original post was about.

Disney marketed The Angels inside the box as Arte Moreno has said. "Anaheim" is good for hockey, but not for Major League Baseball. Arte Moreno marketed the team outside the box, but not inside the box as the people of The O.C. celebrates their own identity and want nothing to do with L.A. In Orange County, an MLB Team should be marketed IN AND OUTSIDE the box. That is what Gene Autry did with California Angels, which they probably never should have stopped being. Also, families and Baseball Fans were important to The Cowboy. Of all The Angels owners, Gene Autry was by far the best. I keep hoping they put him in Cooperstown someday. O'Malley is already in.  In one of my books, I called Walter O'Malley and Gene Autry the "Lewis and Clark of Major League Baseball." O'Malley brought the National League to the West Coast and Gene Autry brought the American League to the West Coast. Before that, Major League Baseball was mostly on the East Coast and didn't get to far west of Chicago. Both O'Malley and Autry opened the way west for Major League Franchises just like Lewis and Clark did for American Pioneer Settlers. This more less puts Gene Autry way over the top from the other owners. 

Disney was clearly the best owner the Angels have had. Without Disney, the Angels would have never won a World Series and the Angels would never had had the glorious Rally Monkey AND THEREFORE would never have drafted Michael Nelson Trout.

I'm am certainly sorry to hear what these young Dodger Fans did to that Red Sox Fan. It certainly wasn't The Sox Fan's fault that The Dodgers didn't play up to snuff in The Series. The Red Sox and their fans are a class outfit, and this fan certainly didn't deserve this. I hope he is recovering well. I do want to mention that all fan bases have their bad elements within. You can't judge an entire organization for what a few bad apples did.

I quit going to Angels games against Dodgers, Yankees, Red Sox a few years ago. it became so toxic. don't want my family around it. 

The NL west wasn't chicken feed, The Rockies and Diamondbacks were in the race till late when the Dbacks folded a little.
The giant were a mess but think will be competitive again next year.
The Padres... well, they are still in SD an likley nothing else can be said for another couple years when their youth arrives. 

I owe a lot of people here (who posted on the OMB)  an apology. This seems like the appropriate thrad to do this. Over eight years ago, when I was living in the Anaheim/Orange County Area, I was what a lot of people would refer to as a troll on the Angels OMB (no longer exists). A couple of months after I settled in Colorado Springs, CO; I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, and that opened my eyes as I learned about this disability. For anyone with Bipolar Disorder, feelings and views are usually very unstable, and therefore are often very inaccurate. After learning this, the trolling stopped. I have gotten along very well out here in my new home these last few years. I am a Civilian Contract Worker out at the U.S. Army Post at Fort Carson, I have written and published a few books, and celebrating 28 years as a Member of Toastmasters International. Again, I apologize to everyone.
