Pederson could also be an insurance policy if Upton doesn't bounce back.  Makes Upton a lot easier to bench.

What if Pederson is insurance for if Upton doesn't bounce back?  Then Goodwin or Adell replaces Upton after a month or so.

Upton has a full no-trade clause.  Just a reminder.
