Love that CJ Wilson was trashing the Angels Spring Training facilities like not even having a gym for them..

This is a great story and i hope it gets a lot of press because Arte and the front office need to be shamed publicly on how this franchise is being run.

Blake Snell has issued the most walks/wild pitches in MLB this year while pitching 5 Innings per start. He's not the answer. Stay away from this guy.

Neto isn't really lighting the world on fire with a .725 OPS (league avg is .750) / OPS+ of 94 (league avg is 100)   Detmers had a really tough year this year.      Bachman and Joyce are TBD.

Schanuel is fine but the guy has almost no power with a .300 SLG Percentage (1 double and 0 triples / homers)
hopefully he works on his launch angle in the offseason and maybe goes to driveline to get some high quality coaching.

Doubt they'll release him.. he's useful can play defense and hit as good as anyone else we can put in his place..  Only reason to waive him was for salary relief.. if we dumped him we'd still have to pay him so he'll be staying.

Could have gotten some nice prospects for Moustakas,Renfroe,Drury,Moore,Estevez and Ohtani.  Was a real sellers market this year as there weren't a lot of people selling at the deadline.

Definitely not worth it.  Wasting prospects when we could have traded them for non rentals and could help us down the road.   Buying rentals on a season that isn't going to amount to anything is the worst thing you can do outside of signing has been players for huge amounts of money IE Pujols / Rendon

wasn't last year was 2021 ... last year we drafted Neto so how could we have drafted 20 pitchers?

Justin Verlander should have been #1 priority. He's older but the guy is a stud pitcher. Tyler Anderson leaves a lot to be desired.

I like Brandon Marsh.  I just didn't believe he is going to be a .300+ with 30 bombs

He feels like a 15-20 steal guy who hits 15-20 HR and hits around .270

Had a fantastic ERA and when he came up in 2002 his slider was the nastiest i had ever seen.

There's no real good 4 for a Mount Rushmore but Trout and Scioscia gotta be there.   Anyone saying Percival must be forgetting Francisco Rodriguez. Way better pitcher than Percival ever was. Led the majors 3 times in saves with the Angels including MLB record that still stands today. (only 6 full seasons with the Angels but same as Vladdy)

If anyone has seen him pitch this POLL would be so lopsided in favor of trading for him.

Sorry was looking at his minors stats all together for 2022  (A-AA-AAA)  Either way still decent for a guy who can't hold any base runner ever.

Mickey Moniak has a .900+ OPS in AAA this season. He's not trash.  Former 1st overall pick in 2016.  for 6 weeks of syndergaard it's worth the gamble.
