Walker is likely going to sign for somewhere between 2-3 years for 10M-12M per year. His OBP has increased in each of the last two years. He has good power 15-20 HR. He’s also good for 2+ WAR per year.
Abreu is under contract for two more seasons. He’d likely cost Skaggs and a good prospect or 2 good prospects. He hits for a good average and has good power. Isn’t the most patient, but hits enough to have a good OBP (.350). He’s good for 3.5-4.0 WAR per year

That does it, every manager in the American League West should be immediately fired.  Thanks for the insightful analysis Bob.  Also, thanks for pointing out we just need an average manager, maybe we can find an average second baseman, third baseman, first baseman, DH, starting pitcher, and some average bullpen pieces.  Thank goodness there are a lot of zero WAR players out there.

Is it me or is Arod the commentator the exact opposite of Arod the ball player.  Arod the ball player came across as selfish and was never really genuine.  But Arod the commentator seems genuine and very complimentary of others.  He doesn’t talk about himself except he will bring up his approach.  I know I’m not super picky with announcers, I don’t hate every national guy like most people on here do.  But isn’t Arod pretty good at this?  

Resign Petit, he ran empty because he was tired at the end of the season but he is depth in our pen. Resign Young, he is a perfect pinch runner and plays well in the field, many will think why Young, but remember he IS a bench player who will have 15 PA's a month (if that), but he can run around the bases and steal.

But do remember we have an owner and manager who LOVE guys old and past their prime, granted CC went 14-5 this season, I think if he signed with the Angels he will go 5-0 with a 2.60 ERA, then require career ending TJ surgery and we get stuck with his contract for the three years left on it worth $24M a year because Angels baseball.
