It's a long season. Every team, even the good ones, will have bad series. It's baseball. No need to panic.

Scioscia is the best manager this team has ever had; but, he does need to control his temper more.

I grew up in Orange County liking both teams: The California Angels and The Los Angeles Dodgers. I first started liking The Dodgers in the Early 1960's when Danny Kaye rocked the world with his "D-O-D-G-E-R-S" song. I first started liking The Angels when Angels Stadium was built and completed in the  1960's. I was a California Angels Fan from 1967 thru 1994 when MLB went on strike. A year before The MLB Strike which ended my years as a California Angels fan, I won a small package of Angels Tickets at an Opportunity/Raffle Drawing at a Toastmasters International Speech Contest, and that was an enjoyable season. That was the year Tim Salmon was a rookie, if I'm not mistaken. I got very good seats. I became a Minor League Baseball Fan and National Anthem Singer in 2005 (Long Beach Armada--now defunct) and became a Dodgers Fan again in 2006.

Gene Autry was considered by the old timers close to the time Walter O'Malley got the nod. I hope the Singing Cowboy is still being considered.

One thing about Colorado Springs, CO; There are four distinct seasons, and I like all the changes. Summers get hot, but not humid. Colorado has very dry heat, but I have woke up in the middle of the night to thunder, lightning, and golf balls from the sky crashing down on my roof.

New Orleans, LA; was once one of the top 25 largest cities in the United States. After Hurricane Katrina washed ashore in New Orleans causing damage, it wasn't even in the top 70 largest cities. Shortly after Katrina, the New Orleans Saints won their first Super Bowl (I rooted for The Saints).
Very recently, Houston TX; the 4th largest city in the United States, was hit by Hurricane Harvey, which was supposedly worse than Katrina was. I doubt that Houston is the 4th largest city now; but, a few days ago, the Houston Astros won their first World Series.

Now I get to experience 2017, and I think about those who didn't get that chance to experience the 2017 New Year (Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds and others). I just want to wish everyone here a Great New Year (2017), and I hope everyone here had a Great Christmas Season like I did.
