He’s earning a role as an everyday player. I’ve always seen a lot of talent in him. He could be a solid above average MLB 2B IMO

Stroman is the last FA option that would make our starting rotation respectable.

We shot our load on the infield already with Rendon. He better bounce back or we are in deep deep shit

Once again we have a bunch of people on the board who got excited about a few mediocre signings.

In the end it’s just not good enough. We needed to do something special this off-season and get a Syndergaard level upside gamble AND a proven ace(Ray/Scherzer). 
 

For whatever the reason may be, they’ve proven time and time again they just can’t get it done.

I understand the upside to this move, but 21 million for a guy who has thrown 2 innings the last 2 seasons combined and had a 4.24 ERA in 2019 seems very steep to me. He hasn’t been a great pitcher since 2018. Hope he can find that form

Not at all. I could see him in the Majors late next year and definitely see him there to start 2023. He’s on the Detmers track

It's nice to see some clear improvement 

He has a long way to go though. I think he won't hit his ceiling for a few more years at least, which is fine

Adell is battling up there. He was an automatic strikeout a year ago. Not a finished product but a huge improvement is nice to see

Massive upgrade to Sutton, who was just flat out terrible imo.

C-Rod has been good. All I care about. Terrible team offensively without Walsh/Trout/Rendon. 

I don’t get the calling up Adell thing. It reeks of desperation instead of seeing the bigger picture
