which is just an opinion piece from a sports writer and has absolutely nothing to do with the Angels FO and their thought process regarding Trout.
They have no clue what the Angels want to do but recklessly state that the "Angels are looking for a trade partner".

100% yes. I think everyone knows Smith isn't what he was 2 years ago though, he won't brig much back. I'm sure the dogs would rather have SP depth than a shitty set up guy

Anybody think the Angels would swap out Shoe with Nate Smith until Skaggs, Heaney, and Wilson are ready? He has done tremendous in AAA, we all know what a nightmare salt lake is for pitchers.

Come on guys we knew the deal coming into this, our platoon is half injured and half sucking, Heaney is hurt, bullpen has sucked, Pujols sucks, Trout is slumping, Richards isn't stepping up to be the ace, etc., etc...
I know it's frustrating but we knew going in this was going to be a .500 team unless everybody played above career norms. It sucks facing reality. There was a completely different vibe to this team during spring training, you could feel it in the air at the games.

Most of this losing wouldn't happen if Trout started hitting the damn ball. Idk maybe swing at the first or second pitch instead of starting every at bat 0-2, but what do I know
