The defense in the first inning was lousy. He basically recorded 5 outs. But he's walking too many batters.

I mean, he went 4 for 12, with 3 BBs and 2 doubles. Kinda hard to ask much more from a lead-off hitter.

Tbh I wouldn't mind keeping Rengifo at the leadoff spot since he seems to be doing well there so far and Neto was thriving in the 9-hole.

This seems pretty encouraging (offensive-wise).

I'm not a big fan of the trade and it sucks losing Quero but I think we can't underestimate the acquisition of Lopez alongside Giolito. I think the cost of acquiring a SP and a RP separately would have been higher.

I feel like Canning has suffered from bad luck/defense in each of his start. He looks much better than his ERA

Was just DFA'd by the Brewers. I really hope the Angels take a shot at him.
