Honestly, Ukraine doesn’t really have any negotiating strength. They either accept what we negotiate or go at it alone until they lose everything. Our best bet now is a return to the 2014 border as Russia isn’t about to surrender.

It’s just odd the same establishment bastards on both sides were around when they convinced Ukraine to give up their nukes. Same bastards were in power and didn’t do shit as Russia advanced in 2014. Now they’re trying to convince us justice and world domination is only possible by liberating the Ukrainian Nazis.

I’m not totally against a war but we’re putting Ukraine ahead of America. We don’t defend our border. China is setting up shop in Cuba and our answer is to keep padding little Zs pocket. If we want to fight, Biden needs to find his Colin Powell and make the case for war.  Show me how Putin is the greatest threat to American liberty.

I don't disagree with some of the things you mentioned. I just don't want the U.S. dictating what Ukraine has to give up in order to get future aid because when you appease a person like Putin, he's never going to appeased. Plus I just don't want the U.S. involved with other countries telling them what they should or shouldn't do as far as giving up their lands. We have too much of a history of that, especially recent history.

From what we have seen of Russia, even if they did take Ukraine, they showed their hand and I truly don't think they are a threat to the rest of Western Europe.

Having said that, if we need to cut off Ukraine, there might be a few other countries that we have given billions to over the last several decades for their defense that might need to fend for themselves as well. Including one in the Middle East. They are much more capable at this point to do so than Ukraine. I think if we have a problem with what we give to Ukraine, we should be consistent with what we do for others as well.

Nothing we’ve done in Ukraine takes courage. Courage would have handed the Chinese their ass for covid and brought vlad to the negotiation table. Right now we still look like not only pussies but also foolish.

Just curious, what would Ukraine give up in negotiations in your opinion? Would it be land? Don't join NATO? NATO I get but I wouldn't tell them they have to concede more of their country than what was already taken back in 2014. I think it does get overlooked that this has been going on since 2014 with Crimea and then Donbas. Ukraine wasn't happy about it then and obviously not now.

Ya who can say. Was it the next year or 2 years later that they had the pierzkski incident? Anyway, more chapters in the annals of Angels baseball. 🙏🙏

2005. As much as the Angels had some weird shit happen those years, at least it happened in the playoffs or leading up to it. Now they just bean each other in the head during a botched double steal in a meaningless game in August.

Jose Guillen had a sweet swing tho. I don’t know what this means. I’m just mentioning it.  May not have anything to do with anything tbh.

I'm not saying we beat the Red Sox in '04 but I felt a bit more competitive with him in left field than Jeff DaVanon and maybe have a shot to get one or two wins in the series. But we knew what we were getting ourselves into. Luckily Vlad destroyed everything in his path that year and that last week of the season.

Wtf are you talking about.  I think it's fair to ask someone who is conservative which conservative they want to represent them.

So you'll be sitting out next year?

I've got a streak going since the conclusion of the 2004 election that doesn't look like will be coming to an end for now. Ron Paul might have ended that streak if he made it in 2012 but Republicans and the media (some of them conservative) sabotaged that.

If he’s guilty of 50 years of corruption, he isn’t alone. You’ll understand someday when your ev breaks down on your way back with that two pack of bud light.

Of course he's not alone. That's why he fits in with the rest of them. But many think he doesn't.

Then continuing to go off about how the GOP needs to move on from Trump is meaningless if you won't even endorse anyone else

    Sounds good. I will.

As a side note, if the majority of those candidates turn a blind eye to him or excuse him away, it is kind of difficult to endorse them.

Yes but this is the first time we’ve seen our government use the courts to attack a political opponent to this extreme. While I’m sure Trump had some shady business deals he isn’t an enemy of the state and this bs Biden is pulling isn’t good for the country. It’s ironic because Biden was allegedly elected to bring normalcy and decency back. Now let me have my two beers for the week.

Biden is so senile he made Trump call the Secretary of State for Georgia in a perfect phone call.

Biden is such a incoherent mess, he made Trump not give back documents he was quietly asked to give back for 18 months (and he wasn’t charged with obstruction for those he did give back, imagine that!).

Trump has been a con artist for close to 50 years and it is well documented. At some point, hold Trump accountable by moving on from him. There is just too much baggage and always has been. The guy is just lucky he ran against someone just as detestable as him.

There is nothing consistent about comparing an incredibly close general election to a virtually uncontested primary.  Or do you think Biden should be doing Democrat debates with RFK Jr and Marianne Williamson right now?

Sure. Why the hell not? Not common for an incumbent as you know but I'm good if people criticize him for not doing it.

I don't watch any party debates but some clips the next day. Smaller sample but from what I saw whoever was in the audience wasn't voting for anyone but the guy who wasn't there.

Agreed and the few clips I saw, I heard the boos for anyone that gave a slight to Trump. So it seems like all this is pointless.

Having said that, he has challengers and they still held the debate, he should have shown up.
