TroutBaseball reacted to Dave Saltzer in AngelsWin.com Announces Podcast with Victor Rojas
I'm loving this!
Victor may have been the very best Angels broadcaster, and a great friend to our website. I'd love his takes on so many different parts of the game.
Really love the look of the graphic. This will be a lot of fun throughout the season!

TroutBaseball got a reaction from HaloBronco in T-Mobile giving out MLB TV codes starting today
Just discovered that Google One gives me a free VPN. It works on my phone but not if I cast to my TV.

TroutBaseball reacted to PattyD22 in Food & Drinks at the Big A
If you’re talking about Brewery X (and I believe you are) they have inside and outside seating. You can usually get a table inside right up until the game, depending on the quality of the opponent. Bigger games, more people.
If you get to the game about a half hour beforehand, you can usually sit outside. They have tables and they also have single seat, bar top tables also so you can face the field and watch the game.
As for the food, I’ll let you be the judge.

sometimes l have to try different cities to connect to cities depending on who we're playing. It seems like every city is blackout for some team.

TroutBaseball got a reaction from Taylor in Pujols the Victim
Sam Miller was asked if Ryan Howard was the greatest victim of the shift. Here's part of his response
If shortstops hadn't been planted in the outfield waiting for him to lumber to first base, it for sure wouldn't have been as infuriating to see him hitting 4th.

TroutBaseball reacted to Jeff Fletcher in Diamond Sports Group (owner of Bally RSNs) files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, MLB to produce Padres games after missed payment
MLB would love for you to be able to do that too, but they are stuck because their broadcast partners, who already pay them a ton of money for the rights to show games, would freak out.
I imagine the only solution is that as these TV contracts expire and/or the networks go bankrupt, new deals will be negotiated for much less money with the caveat that they are no longer exclusive. Then MLB will replace that revenue by charging you directly for streaming.

Moreno bought into Fox Sports West. That entity was bought out by Sinclair. So, not sure he still owns any part of Ballys.
