Such a dumpster fire.  From the beginning of the season Hackett didn’t have the team ready, looked completely overmatched and made a lot of terrible calls. That said they’ve got a bit of work to do to not be one of the worst teams in the league.

So far they’ve made the moves they can afford to make. All in all nothing to complain about and I definitely like seeing them make moves early as opposed to when there’s fewer options available. 

Reading the comments there seem to only be good stories about the guy and how nice and thankful he was to fans while regularly going out of his way for them.  One report says it was suicide which is terrible for his family and friends.  49 is way too young.

I look forward to seeing how much money Trump bilks out of his followers before he gets his shit pushed in during the primaries. Career year at the age of 32 while he was exactly league average from 2016-2021 based on an ERA+ of 100. If his arm doesn’t fall off and he eats innings while being at least average great. That said it’s not likely to be a move we look back on as a win in 3 years. If it’s not something people are regularly griping about then that’s a win as far as most Angels pitching signings in recent years. 

Except his opponent was a TV personality who spent more of his own money this year than any other candidate trying to get elected to the senate. If the reps could have put forth worthy candidates or ones less polarizing than Oz/Walker they have a much better chance to flip at least one of those seats.
