Using dollar figures to asses team impact is about the dumbest qualifier they could come up with. 

I totally agree. Judge got $360,000,000 coming off a healthy age 30 season. Ohtani will be coming off an injury after his age 29 season. However, I think he gets more guaranteed than Judge. In fact, I think he still gets more guaranteed than Trout's $426,500,000 who was coming off a healthy age 27 season. He will also get opt outs so that if he resumes pitching, he can enter free agency again, or force whichever club he signs with to renegotiate a new deal. I'm not saying he deserves more than they got, but he will. He's by far the best free agent available this season. There's no one even close. There's no Plan B player for the teams that don't get him. 

After all this time with Ohtani, you still somehow thought the Angels were running that ship? That’s your bad my guy.

Not that it has mattered but we did lose robbie ray in the first game he pitched of the year to TJ. Marco Gonzales has been gone a while.

This team has some nice players going into 24. Maybe Ohtani stays nice win.

I think those are reasonable, though I'd say the Adell one is maybe 50/50 at best, since it kinda seems like he might be out of the rest of the year.

Victor just saying what everyone is thinking. Not sure how the man walks with how massive his balls are. If in fact that text to Arte is true, i wish he had more people like that in his ear. Most people around billionaires are just yes men looking for some kickback. 
I think Perry is walking a fine line, but the more experience he gets the more confident he'll get in being able to navigate the Arte shipwreck. 

Great episode! I really enjoyed the passion. It's not easy being an Angels fan. I've been a fan since '79 and I don't think it's ever been easy. I appreciate the thoughts and insight.
