This has the makings of a Suarez game

They've been one of the most fundamentally unsound teams for many years now. It's a broader organizational issue. 

Can't wait to repeat this same song and dance again next year, and the year after that.

They're in the middle of an extended rebuild until there's new ownership. Not sure what people were expecting. At least Detmers is solid and Trout still hits some HR's.

I'm sticking to the theory that Ohtani has been paying off Ippei's debts, didn't know it was a big deal, and that they mutually decided that Ippei would be the fall guy (in exchange for a large reward). 

I bet a big chunk of Ohtani's deferred money is going straight to Ippei when he gets out of prison. 

The launch angle and EV were known issues when he was drafted. The real question is whether this org can get him to make a successful swing change, or if they even care to try at all. 

Adell has proven repeatedly that he doesn't deserve meaningful playing time. Rengifo should definitely be playing every day though

I follow a pretty good dynasty baseball resource and while he's pretty org-agnostic 98% of the time, the one org he specifically trashes for their player development is the Angels. 

He plays like he's got the yips. Maybe Wash can work some of his Rendon magic with him. 

I kinda like Suarez as a pure mop up man. The team will have a fair share of games where he's needed to eat meaningless innings. 

Fans should be ashamed of themselves. Arte has done so many great things for this organization.

This is the first and only Angels team that will be playing in the 2024 season, so yes things are definitely different

The one upside is that both will be getting regular starts by May when half the current starters are injured
