At the game with no audio...are the announcers suggesting Burnett could be hurt? Or is this just a scoiscia imposter doing some legit bullpen management?

I love watching this team play. They are well balanced and seem to be playing fundamental baseball. Morin showing he can pitch at the big level is huge. As is Burnett coming back. The bullpen now looks like it could be at top 5 or 6 in the league, but probably won't be a top pen. The positional players have been great, and the depth in that part of the organization is great. I'd love to see one more starting pitcher. I just don't trust that Skaggs and Shoemaker will play like long term.

Ianetta is a horrendous defender.

Maybe they should have waited until his thumb was fully healed before having him play games. If his thumb can't withstand being jammed, how is it going to withstand the far more rigorous activities of playing the outfield.

Good to see he still looks roided out. I had been concerned that he would deflate with the time off.

The rangers should just throw in the towel this year. I have never seen any team this impacted by injuries.

The one homerun allowed through 50+ innings is just absurd. I think he has the lowest OPS against of any AL pitcher. He is essentially pitching like a Verlander, Tanaka, or Scherzer.

Now just drop Salas, promote Alvarez, and we have the makings of a legit staff.

Hank just looks like he is going to mash whenever he steps to the plate. I actually wasn't surprised one bit by his homerun yesterday. You could just tell, looking at him, that he knew he was going to rip into one. I am starting to think Hank has the bat to DH.

Looks like the draft is top heavy with arms, then followed by position players. If all the highly projectable arms are off the board, I'd take the gamble on this guy.

Is now hitting .331 on the season. Extremely impressive, espsecially considering his young age and the slow start he got off too. He looks to be emerging as a legit prospect.
