    Championship caliber team we have here folks. About to lose yet another series, this time to a team that mater dei's baseball team could beat.

    I gotta believe he was juicing. He shows up 25 pounds lighter (he wasn't exactly fat to begin with) and suddenly can't hit? Stinks too much like GMJr.

    It has become clear that C.J. just isn't the same pitcher he was for Texas. We are going to be paying him a lot of money to be a 5-guy the next 3.75 years.

    Meanwhile, Kendrys has a .753 OPS. Looks like a pretty fair trade at this point (maybe even benefiting the Halos more).

    Can't forget Trout's age. Even if he puts up "only" an .800+ OPS this season (with great baserunning and defense), how many 21 year olds have done that? Expectations are way too high for the kid.

    I have been a big Dipoto supporter, but I am losing confidence. Swapping Santana for Blanton is looking like a horrible decision, and I have been arguing since January that he didn't do enough to fix the pen. The bench depth is also horrible, and it is already impacting the team. And with how well Segura is playing, the Greinke trade becomes more lopsided by the day.

    I hate watching this team play. Mostly, I hate that they take the joy out of baseball. My wife said it best: I am a battered wife and they are my abusive husband. They abuse me (like tonight, then tell me they love me and they are sorry (by winning a few games in a row). I start to think they have changed and things will be good, and then they abuse me again.

    Pujols looks horrible right now (0-fer his last 13), and I gotta believe it is his foot. I am actually surprised I didn't wake up this morning to news that they were putting him on the DL.

    Anyone who has watched even just a few games this year has to be terrified about Hamilton. It isn't just that he isn't getting the results - he looks completely lost at the plate almost every at bat.
