This team has to "retool" because it has too much money locked up to immovable players to "rebuild." They need to make some tweaks and *hope* that things improve next year. That being said, our farm is beyond horrible. This team caanot lose any more draft picks the next 3-5 years. And they shkukdnt trade away any young talent. They are going to have to rely on second tier free agents and keep their fingers crossed that that they make some good decisions and contend again next year.

My thought was that he is young for the league, plays a position that isn't generally an offensive position, is hitting with power, showing increased discipline, and in the top 15 in quite a few league offense categories. In fact I think every one of the 15 or so guys with higher slugging percentages, except for one, is older than Lindsey (and most are 2-4 years older).

Lindsey is having a monster season. If he finishes as well as he has started, he ought to be a top 40 prospect.

I can't really think of a Cuban prospect who has busted. Those guys ALL seem to make a seamless transition over here.

The real culprits here are Montero and Kennedy. Montero should have understood why he was being plunked. He should have taken it, shut his mouth, and run to first. It was fair retribution for Puig. And Kennedy should have left it at that. No need to escalate things by going after Greinke, who was well within his right to plunk Montero. If I were the comish, I'd hit Kennedy with an 8-game suspension, but probably would not suspend any of the other players.
