There are people who want Jepsen released every single day regardless of how he's doing based on his his being Jepsen.   He's one of those fulcrums of hate at AW.com like Howie Kendrick and Aybar anytime he has a baserunning error.   
 
Personally, I wanted Bedrosian up over guys like Yoslan Herrera, Maronde, Josh Wall, and anyone else who is unlikely to be a part of the Angels future.   Pretty much nothing has changed for me, but I don't typically let 0 for four games and bad innings jade me on a guy.  I'm just hoping they do a better job of easing him into situations like they did Morin.  Looking at his game logs, 5 of Morin's first 6 appearances came with the team either ahead or behind by at least 4 runs, and 9 of his first 10 appearances came with at least a 3 run differential.  Morin didn't pitch in a truly high leverage situation until his 11th game, when he entered a tie game in the 13th inning and promptly gave up 3 runs to lose the game.

They fired Ryan. When the Angels let Ryan go as a free agent they never saw the playoffs for another two years. The Astros let Ryan go to the Rangers, they never saw the playoffs for 8 more years. With this is mind the Ryan curse grows at the power of three so the Rangers should be screwed for another 512 years.

Yep, the fact that he tried to even say it wasn't intentional is the really chickenshit part of it all.    Machado has been acting like a petulant little ass all weekend in this series.

Love Hawk. I know some people hate his homerist calls, but I think they are fantastic. You know your team did something right that shuts the Hawk up.

I'm still high on the guy but this was a big step back for him. He needs to impress early and often if he wants to stick. This team has seen enough relievers come up and fail to throw strikes at a good rate.

Yep, I just watched it. He definitely got squeezed. But up yours Scioscia for bringing in Salas to pour gas on a burning fire.

this spring a friend of mine was the same flight as Josh and she went up to him and told him I was a huge Angels fan.  He recorded a video message on her phone saying hello and congratulating my wife and I on our pending baby.  Seems like a genuinely great guy.

Kind of cool. He found the picture of my daughter Trinity and him on Twitter and responded.

93% of his pitches are either a fastball or slider.  His mechanics are pretty much a disaster, which leads to an unreapeatable release point:
He's also never thrown more than 145 innings in his life and he'll soon be 26.  Nothing about him, besides his fan friendly depth-y curveball screams ace.  I see him as a 4-5 guy, maybe a 3 if the cookie crumbles the exact right way and he learns how to throw a changeup.
