Not worried. Another Yelich type player will be available again and again and again. It is worth the wait to see how Eppler's draft picks develop. Based on his ability to find relief pitchers, he seems to know what he is doing. 

I would be happy to add another SP of Darvish quality.  Personally, though, I think we would be better off with Arrieta.

Of the two, I hope we sign Arrieta, if we sign anyone.  If that were to happen, we could trade a couple of those mentioned above for some quality minor league pieces.

I am a fan of Cron.  I still think he is capable of that .280/30/100 season, given regular PT.  Keep Cron.

This.  Bridwell and Skaggs for Machado.  Machado would need to do two things: sign an extension, and stay at 3B.

Still, I don't think we make this deal unless we think we are very close to acquiring Ohtani.

I looked up his stats when he became a FA.  My thought is he will get every chance at 3B.  Simmons is our SS until he doesn't want to be our SS anymore.

We could still get Stanton, just depends on if management wants to go over the tax.  On several occasions, they have stated that they would have no problem exceeding the tax for the right player.  And Stanton is one of those guys who may be the right player.

If we sign him, and he reverts to 22 hr and 75 rbi, it would still be better than what we have been getting from 3B.  We are also taking the same chance with Upton. 
If he regresses at all, our production in LF will still be better than what we have been getting in the last six years.
 

Maybe we should try again to find a player to man either 2B or 3B that is currently blocked by a star player on his ML roster.  For example, Rob Segedin in the Dodger org is blocked by Turner and Bellinger.  He would immediately go into the mix as a regular in both corners, 1B and 3B, on our club.

The Marlins will probably tie Gordon to the Stanton deal to dump the contract.  If that is the case, would we still be interested?  I would like to think so.
