Platoon Renfroe and Moose at 1B play Ward, Moniak and Adell in OF

I'd rather we try to improve the offense.  Chapman, mostly his recent history, doesn't excite me.

We should bring him up, play him in LF or RF, and play Renfroe or Ward at 1B.  Right now, before the season gets out of hand. 

It does seem that the players Moreno chooses to pursue fail more often than the ones that the baseball people choose to  pursue.  Hamilton, Pujols, and Rendon all were Moreno choices.  We were bidding against ourselves in the Pujols deal, it wouldn't surprise me if the same wasn't true for Rendon.  

I'm rooting for Soriano.  If he is healthy, he's another power arm for the pen.

The in house guys are Matt Thaiss and Chad Wallach, neither of whom have a hit in the major leagues in some time.  Unless you’re in favor of bringing up 20-year old Edgar Quero, who is probably light years better than the aforementioned options.

Floplag, JMO, but I don’t think we need a SS.  Neto looks good, and hit a couple balls really well last night.  Fletcher is still on the club, so I think we’re ok until Neto takes over.  Bullpen looks good, too. We have a bunch of power arms waiting if Loup, Tepera, or anyone else doesn’t pitch well.
