To be honest, this forum is where I hear both of them the most. If you steer clear of cable news it’s rather easy to avoid.

I gave up watching national news a long time ago. About the only time that I watch it is if something significant happens (natural disaster, etc.).

Big game tonight. Maybe biggest of the season. Can Vegas stop them ? I don't think so.

Injuries have been the biggest issue. Adin Hill missed more than a month. Eichel, Karlsson, Carrier, Theodore, Martinez, Amadio and Hutton have missed substantial time. Dorofeyev is out.  The team hasn't been anywhere near full strength apart from the opening stretch when they started 12-2.

  3. IMO it's impossible in this day and age to clandestinely sell a major league sports team. There are too many people who are too well connected for something not to leak if anything was going on. If nothing else, one of the bidders might mention an attempt to buy a particular club. It will obviously happen at some point, but imminent? I don't see any signs of it. Besides, league owners have to approve any sale.

I know better than to tell you that you are wrong (because sadly, you might be right). But keep in mind that Trump lost, by nearly five percent, as an incumbent during a time of national crisis. That’s pretty remarkable. And it’s only been bad shit for him ever since. On top of that, the economy is strong and improving. The odds are, in my opinion, pretty strongly in Biden’s favor.

I still wish that I didn't have to listen to either of them.

Well, it would be a lot like this administration. Except Trump probably won't have a dimwitted bimbo like Biden has for a V.P.

No, just a yes man who won't dare question or challenge him.

MLB hitters did things to his sinker that would make his parents cry.  He throws hard.  Seems to be the theme with this pen.

Also, quick look at the pitch modeling... Great stuff, doesn't place or use it well.  Interesting addition.

Maybe the pitching coach believes that they can fix the location and pitch sequencing issues.

This isn't really a secret among Avs fans. He's basically take the middle six winger job that Tatar was supposed to do and creates some net front presence until Nichushkin gets back

Tatar hasn't really worked out anywhere. The Knights brought him in for scoring punch, and promptly dealt him.

  8. Building on my early account of Ryan, he was part of a AAA pitching staff that also included Gary Gentry, Tom Seaver and Jerry Koosman - and a closer who you may have heard of, Tug McGraw (who fathered Tim while he was pitching in Jacksonville). In the deal that sent Ryan west, the Angels originally offered Jim Fregosi for Gentry. The Mets didn't want to part with Gentry, so they put Ryan in the deal instead.

I am walking away from the workplace in 3 months. I could keep making great money for another 3 years but it just won't be worth it.

It gets to that point. I had planned to work for about two years longer than I did, but I decided that the difference in income wasn't worth the stress. I also didn't want to work until I was physically shot and couldn't enjoy not working anymore.
