    I couldn't believe how insulting that was. If he'd been the long man out of the bullpen for the Yankees, or Red Sox, they would have spent the entire opening segment on him, and a long follow up later in the show.

    That article is a joke. The writer just replaced the paragraph about coke with one about opioids, comparing Skaggs to Tom Petty. Talk about a hack writer.

    I thought I'd start a running thread on some facts that we can lay down throughout the season as we find them that relate to the Angels.
    Here's a couple that stood out to me. 
    Mike Trout has a higher WAR: 5.3 than the combined Bryce Harper (1.5) & Manny Machado's (1.8). ? 
    What's crazier? David Fletcher (1.7) and Tommy La Stella (2.0) have a higher war combined than both the high priced FA's Harper and Machado. 
    Harper and Machado are making a combined $630 million (if my numbers are correct).
