This is a rip off of the " girls of late night Denny's" calander.

I work in a union shop so I don't usually get to interview and hire. But I have a lot of input on who we keep after the hall sends the guys out. That's the easy part, sorting through before you get attached to someone. Hardest part is when they were hired for day shift, rotated to me on third shift and layoff time comes and it's left to me to decide. I ALWAYS kept the guy or guys with the best skill set. But it was tough to tell a guy with three daughters two weeks before Christmas that he as being laid off. This same guy was marked " in eligible for rehire" because he shared his "****ers I am gonna shoot" list with coworkers. I was number 4 or 5 on the list but I got off work hours before the others so opportunity could have moved me up the list.

I was just reading through AW thread about favorite posts of the year. And I would like to point out a post that I think is the most beautiful post not just this year on AW but in the history of the interweb going back to the back rooms of UCLA in the late sixties.......
Downingrules tribute to his wife and the story of her bicycle is the most beautiful thing I have ever read. I have literally been in tears for the last ten minutes. Stradling and I are men that have known pain and loss through the illness of our mom and brother and the violence that took my son. I am a man that that is never speechless and sometimes I should actually just shut up but I have to say that this website this interweb and this entire world are better places when a love like DR's for his wife exists.

Redfux fans by far. Remember how they used to complain about how th "evil empire" Yankees buy their World Series rings. Look back at the 2004 redfux team that won. Not a single player from their system was in the rotation. Youk was the only position player to get any real playing time that came from their system. They truly did buy their ring. They had a few farmhands on the team when they won a few years later. But the arrogance of the redfux fans that work at Espn and MLB network under the guise of "reporting" are just the worst. Selig even allowed redfux fan/ minority owner George Mitchel to investigate steroids in baseball. Incredibly he found the most fault with New York based teams. There is an arrogance and sense of entitlement that drives me nuts surrounding fans of the redfux.
Dodger fans that have been around since they won in 1988 aren't so bad. It is the fans that had to latch onto a team when the raiders left that are they worst. Dodgers were so irrelevant for so long while the Angels were winning over the last 12-14 years. These same fans were quiet until Manny showed up to drag the dodger name through the mud while pretending to be a contender. And the. Were quiet again until they were sold and outspent everyone else to try to win the last two seasons. Personally I think the dodgers will be irrelevant in another week or so. I have no problem with old time Dodger fans and I feel bad that the thug age new fans are bringing them all down.
