Judging by the frequency of injury, I'll go with it being co-managed Garrett Richards and Matt Shoemaker.  They're both injured constantly and for the most part it's very nondescript.  It's dehydration, or a nerve issue or some weird bicep thing......just say what it is, they were in charge of masturbation and got carried away with it. 

Most good offensive players cost most good money. The Angels only have sorta least good money to spend.

I guess that is true but I always believed Gene Autry tried his best to bring the Angels a championship.  It just never worked.

I would prefer a good player with some durability for a change.  Machado makes sense, but he seems to be having some issues with the outgoing Dodger manager.

In truth, I worry about the clubhouse when things eventually go bad......Scioscia has demonstrated the ability to maintain a drama-free clubhouse for his entire career.  I think the players will miss him.

Eppler hasn't quit, even when things did't work out as planned.
Dipoto is probably choking his teddy bear right now trying to figure out how to deflect any accountability away from him.  Eppler is probably working on how to improve the team without compromising the improved farm system (which he built after Dipoto destroyed).  Give me the 2018 Angels with Eppler and a losing record rather than the 2018 winning record Mariners with Dipoto.  I predict the Angels pass the Mariners in 2019 and beyond.  We will see about the A's......
