Mixed emotions. I've wanted a different manager for a while but it's still a bit tough to see him go. Kinda like breaking up with a woman you had great sex with but the relationship wasn't working.

2015 - 2018 wasn't on Scioscia so, who ever is coming in next, will be facing the same issues.  Can't wait for the first "F-ing ____!!!"

Scioscia had a great run. Last few years have been tough. I don’t blame him for that. I’m sad he’s leaving, but I think it’s time for a change. I wish him the absolute best.

Scioscia was a great manager from 2000 until 2008 or so. Will always appreciate what he did for this franchise in those years, but he should have been gone for at least 6 years now. Maybe he can do better with a new team without the complacency. This was a long time coming!

I don't really care that he's gone... he's just a manager... but saying he changed or lost his edge the time the Angels stopped going to the playoffs is poppycock.

Thanks for everything Sosh! Started following my dad's sports teams in 1994 at the age of nine and I knew nothing but frustration and disappointment right from the get go. To say the least, I got used to what my dad had experienced the previous twenty seven years rather quickly. 

Mike has been the most stable part of my sports fandom and appreciate what he has meant to this org. I didn't always agree with every call he ever made but in the end, I enjoyed every nineteen years he was here.
