And maybe keeping Raisel is also. We don't know the return Minasian was offered or what Arte demanded. It was reported that Arte had to approve any deal for Iglesias.

Through all the hardship we’ve gone through this season, this is an exciting time for Angels Baseball. Detmers first MLB out to Marsh seems fitting.

This thread reads a lot about those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.  History and precedence matter.  Ignoring it is being either arrogant or ignorant.  Maybe both.

Historically speaking they have a better chance of making the playoffs with those guys this year than they did of trading them and resigning them.

It's a good point but the rosters are 26 and 13 not 25 and 14. We usually carry 14 because of Ohtani but have 13 right now because of adding Thaiss as a 3rd catcher.
The roster construction has definitely changed over the years as the way pitchers are used has evolved. I'd like to see MLB rosters go to 27
