Angels Fan Forever got a reaction from Taylor in OC Register: Angels’ Anthony Rendon still isn’t doing baseball activity in rehab from hamstring injury
Rendon right now...
He's the pool boy .

Angels Fan Forever got a reaction from failos in Grading Minasian's First Trade Deadline
Yeah, I think keeping Calhoun and then not opting in on his $14M extension was the right thing to do.
And maybe keeping Raisel is also. We don't know the return Minasian was offered or what Arte demanded. It was reported that Arte had to approve any deal for Iglesias.

Angels Fan Forever got a reaction from Taylor in Pre-Hot Stove Discussion; or, how do you spend $45 million this offseason?
The Trevor Project , no relationship to Trevor Story, looks like an amazing organization. My initial reaction was, Damn, I should be doing more.
Thanks Taylor.

Angels Fan Forever reacted to Bronson in Gameday Thread: A's @ Angels (8/1/21): Detmers' MLB debut! Stassi at C, Thaiss at 1B
Through all the hardship we’ve gone through this season, this is an exciting time for Angels Baseball. Detmers first MLB out to Marsh seems fitting.

Angels Fan Forever got a reaction from Second Base in The Official 2021 Los Angeles Angels Minor League Stats, Reports & Scouting Thread
He already looks better than Heaney and he is the #2 guy in the deal...

Angels Fan Forever reacted to bloodbrother in OC Register: Still an Angel, Alex Cobb is open to a contract extension
DeSclafani, Duffy, Gausman, Jon Gray, Robbie Ray, Kluber, Rodon, Stroman, Alex Wood, Verlander in addition to the names you mentioned. Always the trade market too of course but there's no way of knowing who will be available. Marlins have very few good hitters but a ton of pitching in their system, so they will likely be willing to shop one of their arms for a bat
I'm just saying, I'd rather wait it out with regards to Cobb considering the options that'll be available.

He’s saying all the right things, and by making his desire to stay clear that improves the chances. I can see it happening.

This thread reads a lot about those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. History and precedence matter. Ignoring it is being either arrogant or ignorant. Maybe both.

Angels Fan Forever reacted to Stradling in Grading Minasian's First Trade Deadline
Historically speaking they have a better chance of making the playoffs with those guys this year than they did of trading them and resigning them.

Angels Fan Forever reacted to jsnpritchett in Jose Iglesias vs Simmons so far
If you look at Fangraph's WAR, Iglesias is actually ahead 0.8 to -0.2. We win!

Angels Fan Forever got a reaction from ten ocho recon scout in Gameday Thread: A's @ Angels (7/31/21 - 1pm): Barria on the mound, Thaiss at 1B, no Upton
Yes. My point exactly. Nice win today!!
"Shitty bull pen, anemic offense, injuries, bad owner" conversations should take the night off.

Angels Fan Forever reacted to eligrba in Gameday Thread: A's @ Angels (7/31/21 - 1pm): Barria on the mound, Thaiss at 1B, no Upton
Barria pitched a great game. Gave up no runs and hit Canha.

Crazy series so far, 3 total runs in 36 innings.

Against OUR pitching.

Seems clear Barria is a serious rotation candidate. That was an excellent start.

They need to send Trout to Germany so he can get one of those stem cell healing cocktails

I believe MLB rules prevent Minasian from trading his owner...

Angels Fan Forever got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Official 2021 Trade Deadline Discussion Thread
This point is missed by many. Arte is not intellectually or emotionally well suited to do what the Cubs and Nats did this month. It's his team. What are you going to do...

Angels Fan Forever got a reaction from Blarg in Grading Minasian's First Trade Deadline
It's a good point but the rosters are 26 and 13 not 25 and 14. We usually carry 14 because of Ohtani but have 13 right now because of adding Thaiss as a 3rd catcher.
The roster construction has definitely changed over the years as the way pitchers are used has evolved. I'd like to see MLB rosters go to 27
