    I still have some dirt from the infield that night. I stuck it in my pocket and have kept it in a jar all these years. At that time in Angels history I didn't know if that kind of celebration would ever happen again.I labeled the jar "Angel Dust."

    You need to move runners and score on outs against tough pitchers. Angels are lacking in this area.

    Im old so certain baseball numbers still give me excitement. 500 hr,600 hr., 3000 hits, 60 hr, 300ks, and 56!! which is still my fav. baseball number.

    Its not the losing as much as how they lose. A different goat every night, as soon as a guy looks like he is solid, (Smith) he blows up in a key situation, or a guy turns it around and then gets hurt. It seems like its been this way for years now, they tease you and rip your heart out.It must be love. I'm still keeping my eye on them because I want to be there whenever it turns around.

    Seems like a slide into first is always a last minute decision, putting the body in awkward positions.

    That's for sure 13 of the 15 A.L. teams have 3-5 losses, and Detroit leads the way at only 5-2.

    Not many steals in games that are blow outs, like all the games have been so far.

    So is Kazmir. The only Angel pitchers seem to need is a change of scenery and new coaches.

    The 0fer by Freese didn't bother me as much as him not moving Hamilton to third in the 6th inning.

    I would have liked to see them start the 7th with Salas. Then follow with Smith and Frieri and see what would have happened.

    Losing the wild card game would be frustrating, but I would still be happy to get there this year.
