    Career years from a few guys plus good health is always possible. So spring always brings Optimism for me. 50 years of watching this team has brought enough surprises and great moments that I can't help but overhype and dream of what could be each and every spring. Most years it fades by the All Star break, but I just can't help but be excited once again .

    Our schedule has felt light, but the reality is other than K.C. who really is a strong team in the A.L.? Only six teams are over .500 and that includes the Twins and Astros. So I agree the schedule has been favorable, but I also don't see that changing, especially when they get to the western division teams.

    May 2nd 1979. Ryan beats Guidry 1-0. Both throw complete games only run was a double by Jim Anderson to score Terry Humphrey. It was also seat cushion night !!

    Field of Dreams. Went to Iowa this summer and played some ball on the field. Amazing day.
