Meanwhile were still stuck with crappy infied defense by putting Escobar at 3rd and JG at 2nd. This team needs to put Escobar at 2nd where he can hold his own and put CowaKubi at 3rd. Been saying it for months. JG's bat is not worth the crappy defense we will have.

I think this season is a "Shit or get off the pot " time for Bedrosian.  If he has another year similar to his last 2 years of opportunities with the Angels, the team more than likely move on from him.

As Botchy said, you really never know which will be the highest leverage inning until the game is over.

I could see the Angels signing him, if it was brought to Brass attention by a scout. The fact that a fan has made a reasonable case for the signing instead of someone within the Org, makes me think they won't touch him with a 10 foot pole. And seeing he is an ex-Rockie, Dipoto will probably sign him by the end of the week.

I still hope Cowart can hit enough win the 3rd base job. I really like his defense. Then move Tripod Jr. to 2nd base. Would really strengthen the infield defense. And heck, if the team doesn't improve offensively, they certainly will need better defense to help win close games.

Also, I don't see the reason for limiting Tyler. We have enough evidence to back up that it doesn't take a pitcher 12 months to recover from TJ. It takes 12 months to throw again, but to fully regain velocity, snap on breaking balls and feel for a change up, it's more like 16.
By the time the season starts, Skaggs will be 18 months removed from surgery. As far as I'm concerned concerned, he's already been handled with kiddy gloves. He's ready to roll and I wouldn't hesitate to start him over both Weaver and Santiago.
