You literally have no idea what it could be but he should get a surgery? When you have an injury is your first inclination to get a surgery? Let it play out, surgery is the last thing anyone wants to do. 

I think if they start doing that with any regularity we'll see a significant escalation.

The four-seam spin is pretty good, the curve slightly above average, and the change up is about average.

To bad we didn’t get some serviceable pitching from those contracts.

One thing I have noticed over the years is that if Arte feels he has been screwed over in a deal, he lets others know. I think there is a real possibility that Arte did get screwed over in this whole thing and he is upset, possibly rightfully so. As @Inside Pitch said we won't know what happens (maybe never) until the dust settles. The fact that they are the other Los Angeles franchise will not help relations, possibly.

Its weird, because seemingly the dodgers still have to make some sort of move. If its pederson still, I imagine his trade value dips a bit, just because the dodgers "need" to move him.

Not sure why everyone is pissed at Chicken Strip.  He's on a team that went to the World Series twice in three years.  If you were about to be relocated and you find out that maybe you weren't, wouldn't you celebrate? 

Both sides could have reasons to get a narrative going.  I'm just gonna wait out the inevitable unnamed sources and the eventual Jeff Fletcher story.

My guess: Arte pitched a fit and crapped away a good deal. We’ll see.

You don’t know that.  And it’s not highway robbery.  Rengifo is a valuable piece.  You think the Dodgers don’t know that ? We’re getting 1 year of a platoon power bat and a couple years of a pitcher with some mid rotation upside who’s never pitched more then 110 innings who has literally stated that he got burned out down the stretch in the last year or so.  The Dodgers had him on bullpen duty.  I like Stripling and have some optimism that he could end up being a good starter, but it’s not for sure.  We could be giving up basically a fully controlled MLB fielder.     I think more caution should be the way to approach this.  
 
its too bad that it may not work out (likely won’t even) but let’s not take one of our best chips off the table.  If we can’t make a trade fine.  If something ends up happening between the Dodgers and Red Sox we can re visit.  That’s all I’m saying.
