  1. Dickerson and Blackmon are scary. Charlie Blackmon: Home: .334 / .386/ .887 ops Away: .241 / .283 / .653 ops Corey Dickerson: Home: .355 / .410 / 1.085 ops Away: .249 / .286 / .695 ops Those are pretty damn extreme.
  2. Arte hasn't decide whether he's giving his blessing or not? You'd think that would be part of the game plan before entering these meetings
  3. If Kershaw opts out in 2018 at the age of 30, what's his potential deal gonna look like?
  4. Yeah...he can seemingly play any nationality it seems. He also had a small role in Drive too. He definitely has benefited by dropping his last name for his acting career. Oscar Isaac Hernandez or Oscar Hernandez sadly would have probably got him typecast
  5. Oscar Isaac is one of my favorite current actors and it definitely seems inevitable that he'll become a household name pretty soon, in no small part thanks to his role in the new Star Wars. Loved him in Ex Machina and A Most Violent Year, and Inside Llewyn Davis might be my favorite movie of this decade so far.
  6. .269/.317/.772 with 23 HRs in 2014. Fairly decent numbers just last year and just barely turned 25. He took a big step back this year, but I'd say he's show some promise at the Major League level.
  7. Seeing as it's the Blue Jays, Kotchman could potentially hit 25 bombs next year.
  8. Not sure if I got the right cut-off mark, but his final 38 games of the season (the amount of games he played 2B): .365/.388/.635/1.023 6 HRs and 23 RBIs in that time frame as well.
  9. He's averaged around 9.5 through his first 4 years. I'd say averaging 9.0 through what is typically considered "prime" years would be a realistic bet.
  10. Career .245 hitter and .313 obp. That's a whole 100-point jump in OBP from ol' Featherston and nearly 80-point jump in average. Pretty solid pick-up and improvement on our last couple utility infielders.
  11. Not my favorite, but Thunderbolt and Lightfoot could use some love too. Fun movie with Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges.
  12. I would have to say Unforgiven as well. But honorable mentions to High Plains Drifter, Outlaw Josey Wales, and Play Misty for Me. I'm assuming we're sticking to Clint Eastwood directed movies, right? If not, then The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly and For a Few Dollars More would likely top the list, as well others like Escape from Alcatraz and Dirty Harry.
  13. Pepperoni and Jalapeno more often than not. Other than that, just pepperoni with the occasional addition of sausage and/or ham. Jalapeno is the only topping other than cheese and a kind of meat I allow on my pizza.
  14. Wow, just saw Eric Thames stats for the same league. He hit 47 HRs, 140 RBIs and .381/.497/1.288 slashline. Stole 40 bases too. Sounds like a fun league
  15. Should have probably started Lester on three days rest.
  16. Currently reading Women by Charles Bukowski as well as Hitchcock/Truffaut which is a book that transcribes a week long conversation/interview between Francois Truffaut and Alfred Hitchcock chronicling Hitchcock's entire career. Both are pretty great so far.
  17. Would strongly recommend checking out Incendies as Villeneuve goes. I've seen 5 of his movies now, and that one and Sicario might be my favorites of his. I also really like Enemy, but would be hesitant to recommend that one to most people as it's a lot more deliberately paced than his other movies, and definitely a hate-it-or-love-it type movie.
  18. I picked up both Until Dawn and Phantom Pain recently. Decided to tackle Until Dawn first, since I know how time consuming MGSV would likely be. I've had a lot of fun with Until Dawn. It's a Heavy Rain-esque type of game, but intended to be just a more fun experience since Heavy Rain was pretty dark and broody. If you're a fan of horror movies in general, Until Dawn just borrows a ton of tropes and even plot points from popular movies for it. It's basically a "cabin-in-the-woods" horror movie storyline but borrow very heavily and somewhat directly from Saw, My Bloody Valentine (original), and The Descent. Just finished my first playthrough of it, and since it is like Heavy Rain, I'm curious replaying it again now since the game is very heavily into the "butterfly effect" and how smell decisions can change the outcome of the storyline. About half of the cast of characters in my playthrough died, so I'm gonna streamline a second playthrough to see the story with everyone surviving and see that how plays out. Also, it has similar tech to L.A. Noire and character's faces look like the people playing them, so it was kind of cool/odd to see Peter Stormare, Hayden Panetierre, and Rami Malek playing prominent roles throughout it.
  19. Nice. I'm currently at 23 for my goal of 30 now, so it looks like I'll hit it. Currently in the middle of 3 books. I try not to jump between books, but if I do I keep to only 1 fiction book at a time no matter what. Reading: Hell House by Richard Matheson Consider the Lobster and Other Essays by David Foster Wallace Can't Stop, Won't Stop: A History of the Hip-Hop Generation by Jeff Chang
