Whoa.  Didn't see that coming.  I originally liked the hire, but I found myself being disappointed if I turned on the game and it wasn't being broadcasted by Vasgersian.

You're right. It wasn't ballsy. It was the obvious move. We didn't kick the HOFer to curb. St Louis basically did that. We jettisoned a shitty, old, hobbling part-time player. 
There was absolutely no risk in casting him aside. Anyone with eyes, and most without, knew that Walsh was our answer at 1B. Why wait until 2022 to give him the job he deserved? 
As for others thinking it was disrespectful, who gives a damn? He wasn't dragging their team down every single game. It's so enjoyable watching a game without thinking to myself: " aw, fuck. Albert's up."

I don’t think anyone gives that much of a shit about the trash man that is Pooholes. Should’ve happened three years ago and who  cares what others think about what we do with our washed up scrub.

I genuinely believe some of it is overreaction and panic.   
Nobody wants to be the team that effs up their top 10 draft choice.  So a guy who's been nails his entire college career gets hyper scrutinized for what could have easily been nothing more than a dead arm period after having pitched a total of 15 innings the previous year.
For all the hand wringing about Rocker he still finished the season having thrown 122 innings striking out 179.

Ill believe it when I see it, maybe more importantly .... like we were saying before... I'd be good with any of the four names we've mentioned.  But it is nice seeing it mentioned as a possibility.
If Arte has any say, he'd probably say the same thing.  That being said..  Baseball America lists Jack Letter as a high risk choice, Jobe as an extreme risk....  All pitchers are health risks, few can do what Jobe can.
Angels will have solid options.

All that being said I'd still be ecstatic and shocked if Kumar fell to our pick and we took him. 

Personally I’d be more prone to trade Adell for pitching and if we can’t figure out right field then sign a 1st baseman and move Walsh back out to RF. 

And I’m sure the Angels ignore those calls.  He is a guy you only trade for a controllable ace.

When Ohtani was up to bat at the end of the game this lady reminded me of the woman from the Spiezio home run in game 6.
