6 games over .500 for the first time this year

Yeah, that was the win of the year for the Angels. I'd like to think it will have a huge psychological impact, but things don't always work out that way. But...the hope is real.

I’m praying Trout breaks out of the slump and goes crazy this series. He can carry the team to 3/4 if he’s Vintage Trout. He has always killed the Rangers.

Maybe I’m jaded by the past 10+ years but there’s too much up and down with this club so far. I want to see like a 15-5 stretch with a couple series wins against the rangers, Astros, etc before I can buy in. 
 
I get emotionally attached and then get frustrated when the inevitable happens.

this sweeper doesn’t work and is getting hammered

If Rendon took the reigns it would probably dislocate his shoulders. 

It would be nice if Rendon could play 16 or 17 games a month. That might help.

“We gotta do the little things,” Rendon said. “Little things add up to big things. I always tell these guys, ‘Hey, we gotta get at least, at a minimum 15 wins a month,’ You do the math… We’re gonna have a good chance at the end of the season to be in the hunt, to be able to play in October.
“We haven’t been playing the best, but we’ve hit the bare minimum. I need to push these guys a little bit more to at least get at least maybe 16 or 17 wins [a month], so just gotta keep grinding.”
 

Aaron Loup. He's so focused on his leadership role that he doesn't have time to work on his other role.

Shohei says he's fatigued because he's pitching more this year?  He's averaging 5 2/3 innings pitching every 6th day.  I'll just never understand this younger generation!

When we swept the first two games I was happy but to get the last game sweep, I’m pretty pumped. That’s three sweeps in a row.
