    I don't see how Weaver get's back into this rotation with the way we've been playing and our starters have been performing. It sucks because it's Weaver, but we don't need him right now as a starter. Or let's deal for a bat and he can be the 5th.

    For those of you that say certain people are untouchable, I've got a hypothetical. Let's say we trade 2 untouchables like Heaney and Newcomb for Price and Cespedes. All hell breaks loose here but we end up winning the world series this year with help from the 2 new guys. Would you still argue that we shouldn't have made the trade?

    There's no way he could have performed to everyone's expectations with the contract he was given. We made this deal knowing we'd be paying for flashes of greatness over the term of the contract with diminished returns as he ages. That said, I'd rather he have the money than some clubhouse cancer.

    Why would anyone in their right might want Joyce and Iannetta? Especially the Dodgers.

    I really don't have much of a desire for Reddick, Lind, or Revere at this point. Yes they'd be upgrades but at what cost? I just still don't see this team as taking it to the next level and one of these guys isn't going to help matters much. Not sure what the answer is, but I don't think it's these 3.

    I'd love to see the cubs forum to see what they are proposing as opposed to what we are. It's probably laughable from both sides. Us: Santiago for Schwarber and Baez Them: Trout for Schwarber

    I finally watched the videos and she may be able to field and throw decently but her bat speed is horrendous. She wouldn't get a hit outside of a few infield singles here and there.

    It's funny what a difference a year makes. If we asked ourselves last year who would we rather have Richards & Shoe or CJ & Santiago it would have been unanimous. How many people predicted Albert would be leading the AL in HR in Late June? But yes, we are a worse team, so I guess I forgot what point I'm trying to make.

    He'd have a better chance of getting into the HOF if he had murdered a home plate umpire live on television. I get why betting is horrible for baseball but c'mon.

    At this point I want to make a trade but I think we should be sellers, not buyers. Hate to admit it but this years team just doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
