  1. How close is the next person behind trout? I want all 9 royals starting. Let's get on this.
  2. We should trade him for Josh Hamilton.
  3. We just don't have the free time like KC fans do. Those guys mustn't work much.
  4. Probably means we will pick up Niewuweneneheuis part 2. Oh and Cron should have been traded a long time ago when he was more valuable than an empty bag of peanuts.
  5. Damnit. My jersey still hasn't even been delivered.
  6. Don't worry their whole roster will be on our team by 2025 or so.
  7. Let's trade him for another Nieuwenhuis type player. This would complete the roster for our playoff push!
  8. Giancarlo Stanton but only post name change. I don't want no Mike Stanton!
  9. We have by far, the worst DH depth chart in baseball. It's a position for a hitter for which we have none. Maybe we should see if our pitchers can bat??
  10. He is having the best season of hitters so far this year. We can start trying to compare him to our MVP when he does it for 3+ seasons consistently.
  11. This sounds oddly familiar. Pass. Our track record with 30+ year old superstars isn't all that hot.
  12. Carter predictions? 8 for 14 with 3 walks. 4 homers and 9 rbi
  13. No state taxes? Cheaper? Less crowded? Family? Feels familiar? It's a different culture in Texas than Southern California, and not everyone has the same needs/wants in a place to call home.
  14. Who will get all the balls hit into the seats????
  15. Didn't read all the replies but in response to the OP: And they still wanted him??
  16. I know people say it's not a distraction but deep down I think this is more in the minds of everyone than they admit. If he retired today I think we would see the team start playing better. Just my opinion of course but this definitely doesn't help.
  17. Whenever I hear his name mentioned anymore I think back to May 8, 2012 and feel like we were severely baited and switched! Ok, back on topic, I feel for the guy but he shouldn't be in pro baseball any longer so he can focus on dealing with his addiction.
  18. I've used some advanced algorithms ( ) to calculate his future numbers if he performs as he did the last 3 years. Yes I know he won't sustain this performance til these ages but it's still fun. If he only plays til 35: Ave: .312 HR: 496 RBI: 1552 Hits: 2911 Runs: 1887 OPS: .963 If he play til 40: Ave: .312 HR: 651 RBI: 2037 Hits: 3821 Runs: 2477 OPS: .963
  19. Out, but signing him after his prime sounds right up our alley.
