FWIW, in the initial story I wrote on Friday, I said that PRP and stem-cell are both “biological” injections. I don’t know why the Angels phrased it that way. Today Canning said it was PRP.

You’re telling me you were like “biological injections... hmmm, oh right, PRP.”?  I don’t know what they were trying to do. Pretty much anyone around baseball is familiar with a PRP injection. Most professional sports fans would’ve at least heard of them in passing. But instead they called it a biological injection. While the term may be strictly correct it is obtuse. Why do that? Something just doesn’t smell right about it all. I can’t really put my finger on it exactly. It just seems suspicious. 

Well....let's hope it works!

Why call it biological if we all know PRP? I mean that is the weirdest part.

because they're going to dick around with this timeline, then he'll try to pitch, fail, then have TJS, then be out for another two years basically.
i'm only speaking for myself, but i've written off canning, which only means i have zero expectations of him having any positive impact on the angels rotation for the next three years, possibly four. if i'm wrong, then i'll happily admit to it. i just think i've seen this path before.

not in chronological order of my learning them:
lou is old and mexican
tdawg is gay and fat.
ettin's got jokes like tdawg's got girls' numbers.
strad works at in-n-out.
cezero is a mariners fan.
chuck is the founder and takes hgh.
that's about all i've learned in four+ years.

No. If Simmons is back to close to his own self, you try to extend him for 3-4 years. If not, or he wants too much money/years, you go with Rengifo or Fletcher, with Fletcher or Jones at 2B - and save money for pitching.
 

Doubtful. We have Simmons and Rengifo. Angels can't continue to spend 25 plus million on guys. They have to let their cheaper farm hands start to develop. The great farm that Eppler has put together has and will continue to fill out the MLB club.

best part is the guy forced to listen to the story.  the dude wants to walk away so bad but George F'n Brett is telling him a story about how he shit his pants.

maddon's got a great way about his word choice. he compliments thaiss, while reminding him he doesn't give a shit about when a player was drafted. it's an awesome way to communicate that everybody gets their chance with hard work and results.
i found it humorous that thaiss didn't mention being around trout in his mentors comments.

Puig is the less talented Latin version of Milton Bradley. 

I know pujols has been a huge letdown. But hes had a handful of cool ass moments. This was one for sure.

Probably because he’s around the same age as Trout and he looks at him more as a friend and buddy. Pujols is almost 40 so that’s like the “grandmaster” of the clubhouse.
