Im a bit concerned with our pitching. I think its possible that Weaver could end up being unreliable, I have little faith in CJ Wilson being any good and who knows what we'll get out of Heany and Santiago. Even Richards is something of a question mark and Shoemaker is certainly a possible candidate for regression. Plenty that can go wrong with our group. I think our offense should be fairly similar. Not to worried about that.

So what are our thoughts on all the muslim tunisian security personel who responded and stopped the militants. Including the cop who died ? being simple is wonderful.

Vladdy, two homers against the Marlins, 2nd was a walk off. Other then those two shots the Angels had nothing that afternoon against the D Train. It was awesome.

I don't know what it means to be an addict. I do know that its apparently terrible and very difficult. Therefore, I feel bad for Josh and don't really want to judge him. It is unfortunate that he has relapsed. To his credit, it appears that he came forward with this news, and to me that suggests that he really does want to do right. Its just a shitty situation. I think just about everyone here was super excited when the Angels signed him. I know that I definitely wanted to think that he would not have druggie problems and would anchor a powerful 1-4 punch for the Angels. It was on paper the kind of line up we desperately wanted during the 04-08 years. Due to that I was extremely excited about bringing him in. Unfortunately it just has not worked out. His personal problems make it crappier. I hope the guy can get right. But at this point I hope that the Angels and Josh Hamilton are able to part ways. The guy doesn't belong in any spot light, even one a light handed as the OC. The Angels took a chance on him and its been disastrous. I would hope that some kind of clause exists in his contract that gives an Angels an out in this kind of situation. This is not an Arod error. Hopefully the club doesn't have to get horribly burned by it. EDIT: And I see now that there is apparently no out.

it is pretty impressive how the farm has taken such a positive turn so quickly. That said, it is disappointing to see Cowarts continued struggles that have seen him tumble all the way towards the bottom of these lists. I was hoping that he may finally be that elusive 3b for us. Seems unlikely now.

Im not nearly as sold on Green as some on here. Hope for the best, this is a move we had to make regardless.

I didn't think i'd be so bummed to hear about Howie getting traded. It is a real good move for us though. I'll feel better about it tomorrow.

i remember reading this baseball chat or mailbag years ago on ESPN about the baseball HOF. Some Angel fan was arguing with the writer about how Darin Erstad was a for sure HOF'er. At the time I remember thinking this is the silliest shit i've ever heard/read, I dont care how big an Angel fan you are. I was brought back to that moment immediately when I saw that he was on the ballot. Yea, Darin Erstad is definitely not going to the HOF.

Since we're talking about the last 60 years, maybe Israel and its supporters should look at its own actions and accept the role it plays in the violence that comes to its citizens from the Palestinians. These are the consequences of a brutal extended military occupation. Notti, what you seem to consistently fail to acknowledge is that the Palestinians have a right to live on their own land unmolested. Thats the same right that you are defending for the Israeli's. It is unfortunate that you keep coming up with reasons to justify the heart of the conflict. What do you think would happen if the all the arabs just stopped fighting back ? ( the reality is that most of them don't fight back already) Do you really believe that Israel would stop constantly stealing their lands ? Israel has an agenda, that is the complete conquest of biblical Israel as they see it. Israel also wants a jewish state, so that means the arabs have to go or accept being lessers then the Jews. So, what is the proper response for them ? In addition, I think there is a lot more similarities between the "troubles" in Ireland and the Palestinians resistance then anything going on with ISIS.

it seems likely that more and more of these types of spontaneous attacks are going to occur. Also, I think the attack was more about the supposed threats to the al aqsa site then the hanged Palestinian. Arch Stanton is not wrong though, its nothing new that violence directed at the arabs is under reported state side. Obviously the mosque attack is a terrible tragedy, but the home demolitions just serves to radicalize more Palestinians. The situation is quite dire over there and it seems that we are approaching some sort of breaking point. Have no doubt guys, lots and lots of violence is coming.
