I swear he managed differently tonight than he has all season long. Kole never bunted in any situation during the regular season. This team won almost 100 games, and this fool wants to change shit NOW? Insanity. Also, Cowgill in for Hamilton tomorrow. It has to happen. Enough catering to the overpaid players. You can't put guys in the lineup that have been awful all year (CJ for game 3 and Hamilton)

Im usually not in the Scioscia hate camp but tonight I think he made several pretty terrible decisions.  I was at the game and to be clear the game was lost because of A:   two absolutely remarkable plays in the field.  KC got it done in that regard and robbed us of game winning runs.  In that case the tip of the cap is appropriate.  B: Our middle of the order bats absolutely shit the bed today.  Terrible AB"s, just terrible, they did not show up today.  I think at one point I was pretty upset because it was the 4th or 5th inning and Vargas had not yet thrown his 40th pitch, while Weaver seemed to be battling every KC batter to a full count.  KC is not a dangerous offensive team, but they grinded out AB's tonight.  Anyway they have to show up and play a different game tomorrow or we are ****ed.  We have seen these hapless batting funks from this team during several stretches this season and we simply cant have it right now obviously.  Anyway, back to the skipper, the sac bunt is statistically almost always a shitty idea.  We did it 3 times today with good hitters at the plate.  The Kole Calhoun one was especially awful, very disappointed in that.  I also was not happy to see Salas come out before Grilli or Morin.  Salas has not looked that great for the last month.  I dont understand why he was run out there first.  Anyway, those are my two cents.  Pretty disappointing night. 

10-20 since 2002. Having your second best hitter try to bunt, period, was bad enough, but doing so on 2-0 and 3-1 simply inexcusable.

Guess Im the only one that was more annoyed with the two misplayed balls by the OF that led to two runs...

On the radio the crowd was drowning out the broadcasters, driving home I could barely hear what was going on when Freese hit that homerun. On the TV (especially TBS) they seem to do a good job at not picking up the crowd noise (until home runs and stuff like that). Just my 2 cents.

Cespedes gave the best post game handies. You can't expect guys to maintain focus when they're unfulfilled and/or backed up. 

Feel bad for McDonald and Green, but Beckham was really solid after coming here.  He strikes a better balance with defense and offense.

Nevermind the annoying font of the post, the fact that an asshat on the sports radio broadcasting microphone --who's getting paid to know his info-- included Ibanez as part of the Angels lineup, completely discredits any opinions he has about the Angels or their chances of winning.
 
I'm going to make a blanket statement: a great majority of these as*holes don't know anything about our team. And MLB as a whole, has been making these kind of mistakes for years.
 
Time to wake up people, we're the ugly duckling of the 30 teams in the entire league. These chatty-cathy's would rather talk about the Dodgers or any other team than the Angels. I can only compare it to the guy on the playground nobody wants to be there, but has stuck to its own for years anyway, and has become a force to be reckoned with.
 
This is why I love it when our team shoves it all straight up their collective asses. It's also testament to the fact that it is assinine to listen to sports radio broadcasters who don't really know what's going on. They merely fill dead airtime with commentary that is equivelent to tabloid news like TMZ or FM "celebrity" radio.
 
Sh*ts a comlete joke. It literally makes you dumb, like Miley Cyrus music or Kanye's latest antics. It's why I just straight up don't listen to the stuff. Unless you've been under a rock for the past 10-20 years, you'd know this by now.
 
I'd love to say /rant, but I'll continue to make posts about it every so often until it's not true. It's ubsurd we're not taken seriously.  But for now I'm used to it and will always love the Angels because of the discredit they've been given for the past decade, no matter how well they perform.
