And they’re definitely not going to just toss away Suarez for nothing. He’s actually been decent in Arizona. (A scout I trust said he liked how he looked.) The guy is 26 years old and was good for 200+ innings in 21-22 and bad for about 30 in 23.

It means they have a schedule of which situations/fundamentals they are going to focus on, and they handled some of them before the start of camp because everyone was there.

Is your contention that he isn't trying or doesn't care? Lot of people are saying that and it feels like people seeing what they want to see. I see zero evidence that he doesn't care or isn't trying. If anything I see the opposite. 

Rowen, Hinchcliffe and Tamin all had roles in this and now are all gone. 

I've said it before and will say it again: The biggest thing the Angels need to add to be competitive in 2024 is...better performance health from the players that they already have. 
It doesn't matter what they add if they don't get ~250 games out of Trout and Rendon and for the majority of young players to develop positively. The farm just doesn't have the depth to compensate, and I don't see a possible configuration of free agents that would fit the bill, either. They need the talent they have to perform. Free agent signings are secondary.

Rendon has had a wRC+ of 97 the last three years when on the field and 112 overall as an Angel.  
I don't particularly like Rendon because of the way he acts and the things he says.  But even if he was the poster boy on how to conduct himself while not living up to a contract, it wouldn't change a damn thing about the fact that he's been more injured than not the last three years and when he's played he's been decidedly average.  Not horrible by any means.  
I think we can all agree that we, as fans, know about 10% of what is actually going on (at best) and we tend to fill the other 90% in with what we think they must be thinking or doing.  And it's way more projection than based on anything real.  

If a legit intelligent team (not the Angels) signs him this off season, I'll back off on the clubhouse cancer stuff. The thing is, teams have been able to sign him for almost 2 years now, and crickets. That's very telling.

Yeah. There is a big difference between evaluating a player’s current value and evaluating his career. 
 
Once you put Buster Posey on there you’re pretty much saying you’re evaluating the career and not the current status, so having Trout 8th makes no sense.
