Fregosi2Knoop reacted to Chuck in Join me in celebrating the life of Katherine "The Brave" King
So I found out about this little girl Katherine (just 6 years old) from a friend of the family in So. Cal. She had suffered for about a year with a disease called Diffuse Pontine Intrinsic Glioma (DIPG). She just passed away last Monday, on June 6th at 7 pm at night.
Seeing some of the pictures that were taken just minutes after Katherine King took her last breath on earth were crushing, so when asked to make this video to celebrate her life I was honored.
If you have children, the following pictures will crush you, like they did me and so many, but please join me in spreading the word about this fatal disease and in celebrating Katie's life.
Please LIKE their page to know more about Katherine and how to support the family. https://www.facebook.com/KatherineTheBrave/
Katherine's parents are big Angels fans, as you will see in the video I created for the family.

Shoe, you deserved better. If I were you, I'd take it out on the upside of Scioscia's head.

Fregosi2Knoop reacted to LAAMike in How do you feel about the overall direction of the franchise?
Small sample size so far but if this trend continues it appears that the members of this board are very impatient and are not inclined to give existing management and ownership the benefit of the doubt which they should as they really do know more than us. I would hate for many of you to be my boss with such a short fuse and unrealistic short term expectations. These things take time and in the meantime we are in the chase every year. I can only hope that this short term point of view does not extend to your own personal financial planning.

I am not optimistic.

Fregosi2Knoop reacted to Docwaukee in Morosi: Angels, Cubs, Cards finalists for Heyward
I like our chances here actually. Arte isn't going to limp in here. I could see the Cards and Cubs with pretty similar offers and then the Halos walking in at the end and making a better one.

Speaking of trading Trout, I'd like to propose a 75 year ban for anyone who even brings the subject up.

I hope you're right, but I've been an Angel fan far too long to not be concerned.

I agree with all this.
I'm just saying the team wasn't terrible to begin with, and that they haven't sat around. Every move they've made so far has pretty much an upgrade, or a wash at worst, and they haven't lost much yet. AND I have no reason to think they're done. They have money and pitching to work with still.

Shouldn't we sign our 3rd outfielder before we sign our 4th or 5th?
I have a bad feeling about this.

Fregosi2Knoop reacted to Docwaukee in Mariners looking to trade Mark Trumbo
by the sheer fact that he can stand in the OF.
I think Cron is a better all around hitter because of his ability to make contact. I don't think he's done progressing yet so there is some upside there. Trumbo is what he is.

Fregosi2Knoop reacted to Kevin in Joyce
Jepsen was great last season until the playoffs. He, like the rest of the team shit the bed. Especially in game 2. He didn't fare any better in game 3 but the game was out of reach by then. So you are right, it always seemed like he blew it.

Fregosi2Knoop got a reaction from fan_since79 in Gameday Thread: 8/14 @ Royals - Aybar Out Again
Not only is this team devoid of any talent, apart from a couple of guys, it's the most fundamentally unsound team I've ever seen.

Fregosi2Knoop reacted to CanadianHalo in Tulo Traded to Blue Jays
@JonHeymanCBS: blue jays were said to have been concerned with reyes' defense. they view tulo as an upgrade with glove, as well. #tulo
Reyes has had some balls go right through his legs, cost them a game in Chicago couple weeks ago. But they need pitching so much more

Fregosi2Knoop got a reaction from jimbo in So much for stealing bases (Troutrage)
Given Trout's penchant for sliding headfirst, I wonder if Mike Scioscia has decided that stolen bases are not worth the injury risk.
