While I am not a Rendon hater, his two latest contributions have been getting suspended for his involvement in a brawl while being on the IL, and getting into a fight with a fan.

You all know that I have defended Anthony Rendon and even Arte Moreno in the past here, so this isn't coming from one of the known haters here. 
I spoke to someone who has knowledge of Anthony Rendon behind the scenes and was told that the guy has one of the worst attitudes in MLB, and that he hates baseball in general now -- that he would love to quit, but realizes his contract is too good to walk away from, so the thought is that he will continue to milk this as long as he can.
As a side note, I was also told that Arte Moreno is known as the Jerry Jones of MLB. I mean that probably doesn't surprise many here, but thought I'd pass that along. 

So much to say, with this joke of a franchise now 17-29 in past 46 days.   This is kind of a repeat of 2022.   Once was bad enough!
Farm system inconsistent since 2010!
Bad acquisitions!
Horrible big money FA signings!
Too many bad GM hires!
Team QUITS under adversity!  Bunch of QUITTERS!
Constantly in upper half in MLB in most days lost for regulars to injury!   Need new medical and conditioning staffs!
Moreno only cares about power hitting, as other teams are increasing their team speed a lot more!

Drafting Schanuel 11th when rated in the upper 20s, AND paying him full 11th pick slot money!  And compound the problem by promoting him after just a month in the minors!
Drafting essentially an injury prone late innings reliever in Bachman at #9 in 2021!
Ever since Scioscia retired, consistently mediocre managers and coaching staffs!

That's...not a great team, most likely.  To even be competitive, you have to assume a) health and b) more development/progress from some of the young guys than we've seen so far, plus some smart free agent additions or trades.

Without Ohtani? yeah we need to rebuild. Sure our offense might be serviceable if healthy(big if) without him but the pitching staff is a mess. Both starting and pen.
The depth(which we never seem to have) normally comes from the farmsystem. Neglecting it for so many years takes it's toll.
 
I think it's pretty obvious though? Am I taking crazy pills? We couldn't even win with 2 generational talents and now we're losing one and the other is getting older and slowing down.

The acquisition of Cron and Grichuk, two former pre-Perry Minasian Angels, to me had Moreno's stamp on it. I can't verify it because I'm not on the inside, but it seems to me that Moreno has an outsize influence on player acquisition. All along. I get the feeling that he renders any GM as a eunuch and labels each Angels team by his expensive superstars who end up being the teams' only good players. And some like Hamilton and Rendon are wastes of hundreds of millions of dollars, further unbalancing the lineup. Seems Arte doesn't think that pitching is too important either. 
Until Arte sells the team (anyone into funding a plane to buzz the stadium with the Sell the Team Arte Banner? It's surprisingly affordable) the Angels are going to suck. Arte is the gorilla in the room.

But holy sh*t can these guys give us something to smile about right now?
As I said in another thread, it IS just a game. And spoiler alert, none of us are part of it. It's a bunch of strangers playing and us paying for it, and win or lose, we win or gain nothing.
There's a lot more important things out there to get your endorphins up or down. 
This is a cheap shot, but everyone needs to think about the good times with Lou, and Brandon. 
And then think about the bad times they had without us....
And I know thats a shitty thing to say, but it should hopefully make everyone nod their head and say "yeah, good point." Plenty of worse things out there than seeing strangers suck at baseball.
Sorry, I have my own thing going on at home right now, so I'm probably saying this out of frustration. And it's not at all aimed at anyone reading this. Not trying to preach and say "who cares about baseball, Im having an issue in my life!"
More just to remind everyone to still enjoy the rest of their night, and the weekend, regardless of what our favorite team does. Don't let it affect your real life is what I'm saying.
